The season is over. Post a few of your favorite songs, I'm looking for some new stuff.
I'm a older guy, and my favorite artist ever is Johnny Hartman.

The way I first found Johnny Hartman, Is I walked into a record store over 20 years ago. There was a older gentleman who I could tell loved his job and was interacting with customers.
I walked up to the guy, and asked him what his favorite top three albums were of all time. He recommended three, and I bought all them. At the time I was not a huge Jazz fan, but after this albums purchase. "Johnny Hartman, I Just Stopped By To Say Hello"
This album has never left my play list since the day it was purchased. Let me know if you might like it, or think its terrible. I promise no offense will be taken if you do not like it.
I sometimes see the younger generation liking Frank Sinatra, but if you like that, vintage jazz singers like Johnny Hartman and Sara Vaughn are also worth a listen.
My favorite music genres, are stuff like this, and also 70's era rock. I have a large collection of both, but enjoy all eras of music up to the present day. I remain partial to acoustic instruments, and can not get used to the autotune present in much of todays vocals. I like to hear the grit / flaws, and emotion that autotune seems to rob out of a performance.
But to each there own. Please let me know what you are all currently enjoying.
