The site gives a breakdown of the different elements of the jersey. Im gonna need like 4 of them including a custom lol. What you guys think now that we have official photos? I know before some of you were iffy. Also on website is dates they'll be worn.

There's probably been like 10 alternate jerseys or throwbacks similar to this since the Jordan era. They are fine but also safe and undistinctive. Not really clear where that Bulls patch is, is that on the side? I can't imagine where they'd put it on the jersey. That's the one element of the jersey that seems neat to me, but I'm not clear where it is or how it could fit in.

Not the biggest fan, but still better than like 85% of the league. The Miami jersey should be banned.

Chicago has such a unique city flag, I prefer to see that incorporated into the design.

Most of this years city jerseys are a twit on throwbacks (and in some cases, straight up throwbacks) and I think its because of the 75th anniversary of the league.

While I wouldn't say I am enamored with them, it does seem like I like them quite a bit more than most here after reading other comments.

I will always love the classic Chicago script design, and I do kind of enjoy how they are incorporating multiple different elements from jersey designs from decades past.

The longer they continue the "city edition" jerseys the tougher it is going to be to design something that still feels fresh, but integrates fitting themes. I think these did the job well enough. These might grow on me more as the season goes on as well.

I think it's actually super easy to make things fresh and exciting. You have nothing holding you back from doing something wild and exciting like a normal jersey. It doesn't need to blend or fit in with anything, it can be crazy.

It's like when the Bulls did hat night with artist inspired hats, almost every hat that was come up with was completely amazing relative to their normal hats. They blew away everything the Bulls officially sold. You could easily replicate that with jerseys.

The bulls should almost never do throw backs because they have about the blandest jersey set in the history of basketball. I mean it's like fricken Taco Bell here trying to come up with different jerseys with the same four ingredients. Solid Red, White, or Black, the word Chicago or the word Bulls, and possibly pin stripes. That's it. That's our sum total of creativity outside of a couple one offs.

The city jerseys should not have any of that. Use a larger color palette. Like heck, in corporate some shadows, gradients, images, anything. Put a various types of Bulls looking bad ass on the front of it, or horns, or anything. If you want it to be Chicago, use the city flag which is well known or the skyline, or the UC with the Jordan statue in the front, or who knows. There are so many options here.

I like them - but I like for all our jerseys to look similar to the traditional jerseys

Pretty sure I busted my wife buying me a new Bulls Jersey for Christmas a few days ago so I know it won't be one of these haha...

But I kinda sorta definitely want it to be...

I get what you mean. I think those White Sox colorway jerseys they mocked up last year (i think?) might be what you're talking about. I love the Chicago script, I love those 2018 black flag jerseys, so i think a combination of that with pinstripes would be crazy cool. Lets not get too crazy tho, or else we end up like the Heat's ransom note city jerseys this year lol

Not a big fan. That white piping on the sides throw the design off a bit for me. I think we peaked at those White Chicago Flag jerseys.

and at least we arent the celtics, because they legit only use green and white lmfao

I loved last years honestly, this is just meh. They are fine but nothing special to me. I love the Hawks one this year and the Pacers. The throwback Cavs is cool but still fugly. I hate but also love the Miami one. It’s horrid but it fits Miami. You should get free butt implants with that jersey.
