Wow is the East going to be some ride this entire season. Toronto loses to Cleveland, the Bucks lose to our guy D Rose and the Knicks (Bucks are still missing Middleton and Lopez and Holiday just came back, so they'll be fine).

I wouldn't want to be the one publishing power rankings. Like every team has a "Yeah but we just beat ____ ! " to hang their hats on.

This spring is going to be nuts.

That Sarver story is just weird and hard to get a read on so far. It’s vibe is off. I’ll be interested to see where it goes.

Yeah Cleveland's rebuild is coming along nicely. Sniping Allen away was a nice move I wish we made. Drafted Mobley. Garland is coming along. I would move off Sexton in their shoes.

Am I crazy or will the Kings be respectable this season? Fox, Haliburton backcourt, Holmes & Barnes as your bigs, and they still have Buddy Hield off the bench and Davion Mitchell as well. That's a solid team.

Tatum has been awful as well. So many players are having a rough start I think it's fair to say Vuc will bounce back just like Tatum & Lillard & Embiid. Portland being able to win games even with Lillard playing like summer Denzel Valentine is a good sign for our pick.

Zach should have an easier time tomorrow.

Was our game against the warriors originally on ESPN, or did they switch it recently? Could have sworn it was only supposed to be on NBATV, if any national TV at all.

I’d be shocked if we don’t have guys missing games now. We’ll have played them twice in a few days with multiple Sixers guys in the protocols.

He's never been a Top 10 player in the NBA and yet he's Top 75 All Time. Sheesh.

Currently -

Jokic
Giannis
Embiid
AD
LeBron
Durant
Harden
Steph
Luka
Khawi

And I haven't listed other players with strong arguments that they are at least as good, such as Butler, PG, Jalen, Mitchell, Bradley , Gobert, Beal, Booker, Tatum, Zach.

In different years I would make different lists, with the same result.

OK I was bit off topic. But I had to say it, had not done so yet.

Halliburton has looked very solid thus far. He would’ve been an ideal fit with Zach and DD.

I’m ok with Ball personally. Hali is definitely a solid player though.

The Kings do look legit. And Bagley isn't even playing. SPeaking of being MIA, what's with Rui Hachimura? He's listed as "away from the team". WAS is another team that seems like they are not going to fade away- just a solid, if unspectacular lineup.

i can't believe players still get positive tests, after 19 months it should be clear what you have to do to avoid that.

but somewhere zach is happy not to have to face thybulle again. i'll take it.

This spring is going to be nuts.

SRS tiers so far:

utah, miami, GSW

bulls, raptors, wizards, sixers

the raps and wiz are still 11/12 the east in terms of vegas odds. it's very early

the bulls are up to T-5 w/ the hawks, by the way, after having started 7th behind the celtics

The last time that Udonis Haslem averaged as much as 1 minute per game, Isaiah Thomas was 3rd in the league in scoring. That's some kind of eternal playing contract that Haslem has.

Haslem got the treatment Scottie Pippen expected, but Scottie never took the pay cut and did things like schedule surgery etc…. Haslem is good just to have around because he is living proof of the culture. He is of more benefit there than Deng is for the Lakers as far as paying a guy forever.
