Whatever this game tells or doesn’t tell, it’s a long way to April, and no one really cares how good you were in November.

With the injuries piling up, we do now have a roster problem. Caruso comes back, but we’re down 4 “bigs” on a team with no actual bigs (at pf).

The other unfortunate thing is Vuc’s bad games continue creeping up. The rebounding has been horrible the last 3. Maybe partially trying to do much covering defensive ground. Kind of hopeless with this little size and 3 stars.

Lonzo’s digits continue falling.

If these two regress rather than improve, then we’re not looking at a chip run, we’re looking at a developmental plan and praying Pat’s more than butter knife.

NM the defensive mess..We’re barely getting to 100 points, and it’s not like we’re missing any scorers with these injuries. Like I keep saying, we have a creation problem. Demar and Zach iso with Lonzo/Vuc spot-ups isn’t gonna work against good teams.

Grant or Harrison Barnes would not do a damn thing to change what happened tonight. I’m actively rooting against acquiring either because I’m so sick of seeing their names.

At least Batum would be cheap. If our all-in move to win a championship is one of those two we are just throwing assets away.

I actually wonder if the guys heard the DJJ injury news at the half and it has taken the air out of the room - so to speak.

When a player gets a bad injury in the first minute of the game - it generally has an emotional impact on everyone playing; as well as the fact that you have one less player available.

This game should be a reminder to everyone. This is how max player perform. I love Zach but he should focus his energy playing the game and not on complaining about missed calls and so does everyone.

4 games in 5 days. No need to burn them out.

I'd rather they continuously get embarrassed during all 4 of those games so they can be humbled a bit more. No sense maintaining first place and acting like everything is fine when there are some major issues to be fixed.

I’m quietly rooting for Simonovic to go the entire season without making a field goal. I’m also rooting for him to be the next Jokic, but one seems more likely than the other.
