At this point, it might not be the worst idea to just resign McClung to another 10-day.. at least he has practiced with the team and is somewhat familiar with the system.

I still have no clue what Dotson or Simonovic really bring to the table anyways, or why they're worthy of a roster spot.

I appreciate all the optimism from you guys. I'm out on the ledge but holding on due to the hope it's not serious.

We are one of the contending teams that needs all it's pieces to be so. Without Caruso we are not a realistic contender. But Zach is different. Without him, we will be far (meaning years) away.

One comment about the Post Game thread. That title makes it hard to even come on the board. I will not even open it. Normally I would just roll me eyes at it. But with Zach questionable, it's a damn true stark possibility. I would request i be changed, PLEASE.

First game all year I had to turn off, gawd I hope he's ok and back soon.

If Zach's injury ends up being minor and he misses a month or so, it may be a blessing in disguise if it makes him miss All-NBA and the subsequent supermax. That will save the Bulls about 7m a year on average, which matters with the luxury tax and our ownership group.

Please please please let it not be serious. I don't know why, but I'm fearing a meniscus tear.

They almost certainly already know how bad it is just by the diagnostic tests from the trainers and docs on the knee. imaging usually just confirms what's already known or at least suspected with a fairly level of confidence.

Looking at how it happened I'm fearing meniscus. I hope that's worst case and he can be back in 6-8 weeks. Best case I'd imagine is something like a non surgical ligament sprain and a 2-4 week return.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

Good give him the month off if needed. He's been playing ball non stop since last year, and he's a tireless worker. Not surprised if something felt like it moved the wrong way. Thank God it's nothing serious.

Great outcome. He needs to take as long as he needs before coming back though, because his long term health is much more important.

Now that we have this out of the way, the team needs to get it's head back in the game. For the majority of the season they've done so well with being resilient and banding together, even with so many roster changes on almost a daily basis, so it's not like we aren't capable, but it's clear that there is a level of burn out.

We've played without Zach for a stretch before, we can do it again. Get healthy Zach.
