PG: Worst home loss of the year

Post#1 » by DASMACKDOWN » Sat Apr 9, 2022 2:17 am

It wasnt technically but emotionally and morale wise, it was.

At least the bench guys had life. The starters were an absolute abomination.

We have all said it. Ive never seen a team crumble so much like the Bulls have down the stretch. This isnt injuries either. In that first half, we didnt even know who to guard. Yes maybe the Hornets had hot shooting. Fine. But what made it worse was they made them easily.

At this point I am curious to hear what Billy says. If he says some BS about the team, he will start getting to Jim Boylen levels of interviews.

Serious question: how does management justify bringing these bums back next season?

Glad I missed it.
Major shake-up coming? If so, then EVERYONE needs to be on the table. There isn't a single player that is safe.

Everyone has 5 games left to show they belong.

Then Lonzo or Zach get another injury and we’re right back in the same spot. Can’t wait

Blow this team up for what? You want another 25-30 win season? DeRozan has value but its not like you are getting a star back. Maybe you get Vuc off the books but for who?

I’d rather watch a scrappy young team than whatever the hell we are seeing now.

It will be blamed on injuries. But we have a lot of injury prone players, so not a great reason.

Should be fascinating to see what AKME does. Of course it was unrealistic to expect an immediate contender, but we thought we were seeing the seeds of something positive being built. Now it looks very rotten.

We dubbed them genius too soon, but in reality it’s TBD if AKME is even an upgrade over GarPax. They sure have shown a different style so far, but jury’s out on whether we’ll actually get better results. Time will tell...too early now.

We've reached the point where I no longer care if we win or lose. All these years trying to make the playoffs, and when we finally do, it's in the midst of the biggest mid-season meltdown in recent memory. Any excitement I had for the playoffs is long gone. I don't even care. We're going to either get swept or win a game at best, anyway.

The first 60% or so of this season was false hope, fool's gold. We are trash. We're exactly what the pundits said we were before the season started.

That'll put us a step away from saying when we get so&so back it'll be like adding a talent.
