He is supposed to be your wing backup. He can be great in that role being a little defensive spark plug against second units

Your backup wings need to be able to knock down open 3s. He is more like 11th man on a good team.

Oh I agree, he is not a first off the bench wing by any means...

Every time I look up at the TV Bobby Portis is taking a 3 with no Bulls within 8 feet of him

We are running good offense. These guys just can’t shoot.

Bulls have had just as many open 3's but the Bulls can't hit them.

Appreciate the overhead view of DJJs FT so we could see just how bad his attempt was

Most NBA players shoot 40% or higher on wide open triples. Our guys are at about 15%.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

I wish we had three point shooters. Oh yeah they’re injured.

The doom and gloom is well justified and this game is gross, all that being said, this is still better than last year.

He actually should stay as end of bench player.

Bulls record over their last 23 games is 12-11

Oh wait no I didn’t mean win/loss record. 12 is the number of games we lost by 15+ points and 11 is the number of games we didn’t.

We now see why players like Javonte/DJJ were not playing much on playoff teams. You have to be able to shoot in the playoffs. Just "playing hard" doesn't work.

Why did your beloved player, Zach LaVine let Grayson shoot wide-open 3s while he's hot? Did those defensive possessions "work"? LMAO

Yeah you clearly don’t understand. Have a good one.

Yeah I really don't know why LaVine always let opposing shooters shoot so easily while he's NOT doubling someone. His defense is so bad even when his job is just to stay focus on his own man.
IKR? And Zach is letting them shoot bunches of wide open 3's tonight too. What a bum.

WindyCity is right. You really don't understand what is happening with the Bulls defense.

Even with Zach and Ball we still don't have anywhere enough shooters and it has been a problem all year. 3 pt shooting and interior defense are the top priorities (and well most teams top priorities honestly but even mores for the Bulls)

Even the injured guys would just get us up the minimum amount of shooters we need.

It’s like we may have to stick to their three point shooters or something

Are they playing good defense because our open players can’t shoot?
