Side note: I dont know whats going to happen with Dipo but he looks done. I dont think he is going to get a big contract from anyone.

In game one Jimmy played great but Vincent and Herro dominated White but tonight Smart is dominating them and unless Lowry comes back I think Smart will continue that the rest of the series .

If Miami make the same number of 3s as the Celtics, they would not have been blown out.

Every series has come down to basically that.

One thing I do give credit though is Marcus Smart. That guy a few years ago was like a rich mans Kris Dunn. Not he is legit especially with the 3.

Yep. So many blowouts in these playoffs, becuase if a team hits 40%+ on 3s when the other team is not making 3s, it's all over. And the Celtics hit 50% on their 3s tonight. That said, they were better all around than Miami this game, they would have won even if the 3 point shooting had been equal. The Celts looked really tough -- their #3, #4, and #5 players dominated their Heat counterparts.

Yep. The early verison of Smart was all energy, no finesse. Bad shooter, not much of a playmaker, often a poor decision maker. Now he's just a baller. He's way better than the 3rd best player on the Heat, whomever that might be. (Either Old Man Lowry, or "disappear in the playoffs" Tyler Herro.)

Gotta give props to Gabe Vincent, that's two straight games that this nobody backup has showed up and played well on the big stage.

Oh I agree with you then. Down here it feels like the media label him not a superstar because he's not pulling Lebron like numbers. The thing is... he's not that far off. Just because he's not Lerbron, doesn't make him not a superstar.

I wouldn't count the Mavs out. They were down 0-2 against Phoenix as well. Golden State is probably the better team but I wouldn't be surprised if the series was tied 2-2 after four games.

While I agree with your point, it should also be said that GS was also good with its 3s. It took fewer but it hit 50% of them, at 14-28. If GS had shot its 3s at a normal percentage, going 10-28, it would have lost the game.

The 2022 NBA playoff motto: Make your 3s or die.

I’ve always been really high on Mo Bamba. It seems as if Orlando isn’t going to retain him. He’s got great defensive potential and can space the floor. I’d love to target him.
