Caruso's is nowhere near its highest with only one year let, but still very surprising.

EDIT: I'd also say that in an initial Woj tweet, sometimes the draft compensation isn't reported and he reports later, so I'm crossing my freaking fingers.

giddey is a decent guy to take a flier on and it's good we didn't just stand pat on caruso, but if we didn't manage to get any picks from OKC despite their treasure trove then i dunno man.

Caruso is a championship caliber contributor. Giddey is a bum. Will Reinsdorf please sell his Chicago teams?

it's such a terrible trade. also makes you wonder WTF they are doing carrying around Lonzo again. There is no plan of course, AKME are just lurching from one bad decision to another. Doug has been right.

Per 36 last year Giddey averaged 18, 9, and 7 with a steal and a block with a 55 TS%

He's a stat sheet stuffer and looks like our Lonzo replacement as a big playmaking PG. Not sure about his defense, but hopefully he continues to improve his shot.

I kinda like it? I hate losing Caruso and I really wish we could have gotten some kind of picks as well, but taking a gamble on a big, young PG who can do a little bit of everything isn't terrible.

I'll refrain from making any underage jokes.

Maybe now we'll look to dump Lonzo for whatever we can get.

Is this real, because this is exactly what we needed. Coby and Giddey are the first signs of a youth movement. Who else can we get for DeMar and / or Vuce?
