Big overpay by POR for Deni.
Should help our pick though. Have no idea what they are doing in POR though. Grant on his way out?

POR was a first apron team before the trade so replacing Brogden with Deni gets them under the first apron. 14 this year and another pick in 2029 isn't really a big deal for them. It would've been much better if POR was trying to be good though.

Holland or Ware (Buzelis?) at 11 for me please.
Or trade back with Washington for 14 and 26.

I know this draft has been labeled as one of the worst in recent memory, but I feel like there are going to be some very intriguing players that will be available when we pick. I am pretty excited about our odds for picking up a contributor tonight.
Would love if we managed to nab Shannon, be it with our pick or via trade. Maybe 11 is too high for a prospect like him, but perhaps not.

Too much 'hype' for an NBA draft.

Yea, they are trying for some NFL style stuff, but it's not the NFL draft.

I thought portland couldnt trade their first? Isnt that why the conditional pick owed to the bulls has value to them getting back?

I think technically they can trade it after they make the selection.

An underwhelming number one pick, but anyone picked number one would have been underwhelming. I'm not of the belief that it's a bad draft, but it's an overly FLAT draft, where there are no clear stand outs, but solid players throughout the draft.
