Duarte is fine as a 2/3 that can provide some 3-point shooting off the bench for the Bulls. Sad to see Demar go but if you're getting a couple of picks and a role player that's better than losing Demar for nothing.

I think the bulls actually made out well here. Probably gonna waste the two picks at some point but I’m sure the team is thrilled about the cash.

So what do we think about Chris Duarte? Great start to his career in Indy, then traded to SAC to not get minutes in his only season there. Seems like a nice upside pickup. Fantastic college career at Oregon.

He'll play hard against Ayo in practice, probably. Don't think he gets much game time.

it doesn't hurt to have an extra wing, but he's in the last year of his contract, he's 27, and he's not been good to this point in his career. not really any reason he should be in our rotation unless he shows out in practice or something

Strong move for Sac. Upgraded Barnes to Demar and got off Duarte’s $5m for the cost of two second rounders.

I’m surprised this is the route San Antonio took with their cap space. There were better, more future-looking options than Barnes at $18M.

For the Bulls, this is the low end of the outcomes I’d be satisfied with. It’s over finally.
