Vooch seems to always plays well against the Celtics. With that said, Tatum and Brown are going to dog walk all over our small guys.

This is going to be number 3 of the last 4 home games ending in a terrible loss. This will look worse than the Memphis and Rockets games.

Gonna be especially tough to match up defensively without Pat in this particular game. I expect us to not just lose, but be openly clowned upon.

I am quite sure I may be the only person who cares about this and thinks we have a chance against the Celtics for it even matter, but Knicks-Hornets result was good for the Bulls' NBA cup advancement chances.

Because Knicks only beat Hornets by one, it means the Bulls will have them beat on point differential in the event that the Bulls beat the Celtics and the Knicks lose to the Magic. [A 3-1 Magic team is the nightmare scenario as they have too big of a point differential laead to catch for a wildcard.]

Simplest way to get in is as the winner of their group. That would mean the Bulls beat the Celtics tonight and the Cavaliers lose to the Hawks or Wizards. A Cavaliers loss to the Hawks would put the Bulls in control of their own NBA cup destiny.

But given that the Hawks just beat the Cavaliers, I would imagine the Cavaliers come out motivated and win today against Atlanta and easily beat the Wizards.

Which leaves the wildcard. The Bulls still need to win (by as much as they can, but +1 should do it) and the following:
-2 Magic Losses against Nets and Knicks or a Knicks loss to the Magic
-A Pistons loss to the Bucks as long as the Pistons don't beat the Pacers by more than 13.

Hilariously for those who are joking about the Celtics beating us to Hell. If the Hawks randomly win today, the Celtics would be even more motivated to destroy the Bulls to top the Knicks/Magic/Bucks in point differential so they get the wildcard.

You are welcome for this useless information! In this futile Bulls season, I'd still be happy to have a random meaningful game to consume.

This will be interesting because if they win they win the division in the tournament.

Although it’s meaningless, at least they should be highly motivated to win so we’ll see how they respond.

Fun scenario tonight. If Bulls win, they win their group and remain alive for the Cup. Meanwhile the Celtics need a massive blowout to make it as a wild card. This season is meaningless but glad to have juice for at least one night. Hopefully the Bulls can keep it competitive.

I hate this smallball because its done nothing but guarantee guards minutes without any need for them to actually be playing well.

They better thank the heavens they have Billy as a coach because on another team no way a coach constantly plays 4 smalls when two of the smalls are not even playing well.
