Wanted to watch Ball vs Ball, but looks like LaMelo is out.

Will be interesting to see the Williams/Buzelis minutes distribution now that Pat's back.
I'm prepared to be unhappy.

At least we don't have to deal with Grant Williams' clown self.

Please, start Ayo/Lavine/Matas/PWill/Vuc
Play Giddy/Coby/Smith as main bench pieces
Ball/Phillips/Terry spot minutes

They have really screwed over the schedule to include this stpd NBA Cup. Bulls played so many back to backs(which causes them to lose games automatically) and now had almost a week off. Its ridiculous. Adam Silver has made the league a lot worse since he’s taken over.

The "they're just regular season games it's no worse" argument doesn't apply for the IST because they radically change the schedule to accommodate the IST. I've never seen such a broken schedule:
Nov 17,18, B2B
Nov 20
Nov 22, 23 B2B
Nov 26, 27 B2B
3 back to backs only separated by 1 normal game. And I believe all B2Bs are "3 games in 4 night" type B2Bs, so it's game 1, game 2, off night, game 3. These are horrible for team performance. We had 4 B2Bs in just 1 month.
Ironically the IST, whose goal is to improve the early regular season, has made the early regular season worse as a product.

The cup is goofy. I wanted a 2nd tournament, but baking qualification into regular games is weird. A modest cash payout seems like a weird prize for a bunch of rich dudes. A 2-week paid season bye would seem like more of a reward, where you actually get wins counted for every game you would’ve played (and an automatic L towards every team that you would’ve played).
I’d also just make it a 32 team tournament (yes- bring in 2 squads outside the league to make it work, like Real Madrid and FC Barcelona), skip the dubious qualification rules. 1 and done with every team- make it an isolated 1 week event in an isolated town. 16 games in 2 days (from morning to night), 8 games after a day break, etc. Quarters, semis, finals -- boom, boom, boom. Olympic style.
Make the whole damn thing in Vegas, Austin or Puerto Rico. Do it around Christmas time so that the whole world can watch. Call it the Holiday Cup, sponsored by Hallmark. Team that holds the Cup gets to host the ASG, and 2 of their top players automatically slotted to the squad!
Also the colored courts give me a headache… ditch those.

The courts were god awful . Too much color . Could have done a bad ass cup in the middle of each court and called it .

Hoping P Will can come back, curious how it could affect the lineup.
Starting lineup I want to see: Ball-LaVine-Williams-Buzelis-Vucevic
Starting lineup I'm expecting: Giddey-White-LaVine-Williams-Vucevic
We actually have forward this year and we're still too often playing 4-guard lineups

By far the most important thing to watch.

Conspiracy theory: Bulls have a trade lineup up for Vuc and the illness is fake, Just waiting for Sunday for the trade to be legal.
