I’m conflicted. Always happy for wins but is that short sighted? Especially given our draft pick.

I decided to go glass half full this year: if we win, not gonna complain; if we lose, it fuels the tank. Set myself up so I’m basically happy about any outcome lol.

I was listening to Bill Simmons and his buddy House is a DC fan and had the best way to describe that team [paraphrasing],

They are great for the league, they give your FO/Coaching staff the best possible look at what their team actually is and if their goals are being achieved. You are getting the absolute best of what you built when you play against the Wizards.

26% 3P shooting, Billy just has the team shooting terrible shots all game.
And what's worse is that they pass up good looks to force up bad 3s. Like deciding not to go for a layup to kick out to a 3 from a bad shooter. Tonight Coby faked his defender past him, had a clear straight line to the rim for a layup or foul but instead stepped back into a bad moving off balance 3.

Because your team is down 9 and instead of focusing on defense getting a stop and executing some quality high IQ basketball offense, our best option is our center running up early in the shot clock heaving up a 3.

You want to root for your team but this offense is very difficult to root for.
