When Wemby played in New York, he went out early the next morning to play chess in the cold rain in Washington Square Park. It was unannounced (til he tweeted it) and in my nerdy opinion, one of the coolest-but-wholesome things a rising pro-athlete has done in my memory.

If he were do to something analogous in Chicago, what would it be?

Wemby taking almost 10 3s a game is crazy. He's just a spot behind Coby in total 3PA for the season lol, and he's played 3 fewer games! You'd think when you're that big playing next to a PG like CP3, you'll just play inside and finish lobs all day.

Anyways, trying to score inside against that is basically a turnover, so if there's ever a game where you should be spamming 3s, it's this one.

Eat deep dish with Wemby.

Which reminds me I once saw Ron Artest at Peaquod's.

I'm fairly sure he's encouraged by his coaches to play away from the basket as it will likely increase his longevity. He'll play inside more when games matter.

I worked the bar at the Giordano's in Prudential Plaza a couple years in the mid aughts. God that job sucked. But I did have Orlando Pace as a regular, one of my first celebs/athletes who I got to know personally. He's a colossally huge man - I'm 6'2" and he made me look like a twig, and being a Pro-Bowler and playing for the Bears then, got plenty of attention. He liked when I worked because I was really good at keeping nearby customers polite, letting them know he'd shake their hand on his way out - which he did every time. Anyway, yep, pros love deep dish. Imagine if we traded for Zion, good lord even my Grandmother would tell the deep-dish joke and she passed away fifteen years ago.

Giddey's broken ass 3 point shot just missed by about 2 feet.

Then he throws a sweet 60 foot pass up to Zach for a dunk. The Josh experience.

Coby's shot selection is ridiculous. Too old to be taking these shots.

Terrible, pathetic 1st quarter:
Terrible shot selection
Terrible playcalling
Terrible defense
Terrible turnovers
Typical.

Yup, that's enough for me. I might peek at 1 more game during the season but that's it.

Wemby is effecting our entire offense with just his presence on the court. Those open 3s we're getting aren't as open as they seem with him flying at our shooters, even with a late contest.

You can see on their drives they're hesitating and stuttering because they're thinking about Wemby rotating over and contesting.

He could score 0 points and still impact the game more than most guys who score 20+. He is a freak.

Don’t like how Jalen Smith is used on offense. He just stays on the 3pt line to take 3s, that’s it. He’s not even that good of a shooter.
