 well obviously not the case for bulls but below I’ve made 2 trades that I think we could do. not that it will happen! it just gives us a few more picks and frees up a little money.

There are still moves to be made at the draft. What do you think we should do?

Who would you pick at the select at those picks?

All a bit of fun while we wait for the FO to do nothing!!!!

Finances= Start $4,538430 Under Tax(UT)

Trade 1 with Clippers

Carter and Duarte for Tucker and Hyland, cash considerations and 2026 Srp, 2030 srp ( try and push for draft rights to Ismael Kamagate!)

Notes: LAC have said they will give draft capital for rotation upgrade and these 2 are on the block. Both expiring $. Get off Carter 2nd year also helps

Finances after trade
+$303,672 then buyout for Tucker of $5,172,655 end up getting $6,366,346 more space. Which is now $13,912,231 UT
14/15 players

$10,904,776 UT

Trade 2 with Lakers

Vucevic and Craig for Hachimura, JHS, Hayes and 2 2025 SRP(LAL/LAC)
15/15 players
-$498,444
$11,403,220 UT

Roster after the trades

Giddey/Ball/Hyland

LaVine/White/THT/JHS

PAW/Ayo/Terry

Rui/Buz/Phillips

Smith/Hayes

EDIT*Bulls 30-52 finish 7th bottom, lottery doesn’t help they stay 7th.

The financial side of trades with the rules as tight as they are rarely can change much,.

The first trade is half good. Give up 2 guards get one back. Bad to get Hyland who is the type who sees himself as a star in the making, he's not going to be happy buried on the bench of a sub .500 team. Tucker in the twilight of his career has to want to get to a contender for a playoff run. To get to 15 Tucker gets released. The SRP is nice to pickup but if they end up with disharmony in the locker room then it's not worth it.

The second is very much what we've seen 83 times before.

After both for the Bulls I like the center pairing. I like Rui and Pat as a pair. I dislike still having the glut at guard. Just no minutes for Hyland even if Lonzo sits out some games, Coby needs more than 16 minutes behind Zach. You try to make it look better by moving Ayo to the SF pushing Phillips down the bench. THT needs somebody else to sit out a game so he gets in and JHS is way at the end of the bench.

substituting one issue for another isn't great. Plus if they do trade Lavine they're going to get more bodies back and some of them guards

That team wins a hell of a lot more than 6 games out of 40 even with the small front court.
