Bulls Trade Deadline Prediction Thread
Roughly 1 week to go….what does everyone predict will happen for the Bulls?
As desperate as I am to see some trade activity, my “bold” prediction is we stand pat and don’t do sh*t. Ride out the season and end up in the 10 seed and final play in spot. Zach and Vuc both get traded in the offseason.

Guys like Ingram haven’t been traded. New CBA gonna put a lot things in perceptive for both teams and agents.
No more acting under the old rules.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.
NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Re: Bulls Trade Deadline Prediction Thread
My prediction as of 1/29
Vucevic
Vuc ends up going to the Warriors with the trade getting expanded to include Kuminga (whom the Bulls were targeting last trade deadline):
Bulls in: Jonathan Kuminga, Kevon Looney, Gary Payton, Kyle Anderson
Warriors in: Nikola Vucevic, Coby White, and Torrey Craig
Warriors add Kuminga over adding picks, while also dumping Anderson's contract on Chicago. Warriors get their stretch 5, a young guard in Coby, and a veteran replacement forward in Craig for a playoff push this year.
*Bulls would have to cut a player to make this work. I could only dream that that player would be THT.
This for me is a "where there's smoke there's fire" trade. They like Vuc, we like Kuminga. How do we level off that value.
Carter and Duarte
This ones a bit out of left field but
Chicago in: Jock Landale and Aaron Holiday
Houston in: Jevon Carter and Chris Duarte
Houston swaps out Landale whom they barely play and Holiday for the better 3-point shooting Carter and Craig to support their playoff run. Bulls get a half season look at Landale and Holiday, both are non-guranteed or team option next season and could be let go for cap space if needed. Seee if Landale and Giddey can show some of the Team Australia chemistry in the NBA.

Re: Bulls Trade Deadline Prediction Thread
Moving day.
I think the big contracts that teams/players want to be in motion; Butler, Beal, Fox, Randle, Ingram, Zion etc. . Those teams that feel the need for a small shake up TOR, Your Chicago Bulls, WASH or should be looking for a big shake up PORT. Some teams like MIA, GSW, LAL, MIL and SAC looking for win now pieces. If the salary cap space can be made to work there will be deals made. I think a lot of teams feel the pressure to do something and the bulls can get in the way of that
And the Bulls with
Lavine with a big contract
Vucevic on a medium contract
Carter, Terry, Duarte, Craig on minor contracts for matching purposes
I see the Bulls moving all of those guys and ending up with a players looking to impress for the next 38 games and a fresher outlook for next season
As above I like getting Landale with his not guaranteed contract. I'm warming to getting Kuminga but can't see GSW moving him hanging onto him for so long. Flashes of greatness, but zero consistency.

Nothing of significance. I don’t expect literally nothing at all, but my guess is just some minor lateral move or $ saving dreck.

Re: Bulls Trade Deadline Prediction Thread
i have to believe we're trading vucevic no matter what and just holding off until the deadline to see if someone can beat the standing offer from golden state
i don't think a lot of this front office but the idea that they're willing to stand pat AGAIN is just...i refuse to believe anyone could behave that way. i could not think that little of my fellow man, for if i did, how could i go on living?

Same as the last few deadlines.

Yeah, I have no idea whether they'll make any other moves, but my guess would be they'll take the best offer for Vooch that they have at the deadline.

Vuc to GS for their price. Maybe Craig or Carter out in a minor deal for a 2nd or a younger lottery ticket. Dat’s it.

This would be great work. You upgrade the level of athleticism and length.
Plus, I would not have to watch Vuc play.
