Gary Harris and a Pick? Do we get a 1st? Do we get their 1st this year?

My trade is White for Den pick/Howard/Harris
If too steep, try White/Craig for Anthony/Howard/Den pick
Or, a bigger one-White/Vuc for Howard/Anthony/Harris/Pick

the twitter account that posted about the magic being interested in coby is a fake insider. there is no reason to believe coby will be traded to orlando other than pure speculation

Looking at ORL's contracts, Harris and Joseph are both expirings. I'd be fine with those guys and a 1st. I'd be happier if we got Black, Da Silva, or Howard in the deal too.

Just to discuss a rumor good or bad
I want a first and expirings, if you're ORL boo hoo pay up
Right now before they can move Vuc I want a 2026 pick if possible. you don't know who you're getting back for Vuc so they could have too many players even after waiving Craig and Duarte
with the guys they have right now, counting Vuc and Coby as gone
PWill PO 28-29
Ayo, Huerter, Collins, exp
Smith, Matas 2 years
Giddey, Terry, Phillips 1 then RFA
Carter PO
and the returned lottery pick
Lonzo, Jones, THT UFA
I would like Lonzo and Jones back
So basically 12 layers plus Carter, THT and whoever you get for Vuc
That's a young team maybe the lottery pick gets some minutes, you don't want 2 rookie FRP's to sit. Take a 2026 pick when Collins, Huerter, Terry, Carter expire, when you've seen enough of Giddey, Phillips, where's Ayo after next year to make a call on paying them.
don't just fall in love with this draft think about how many roster spots and how much playing time you have for rookies

Any deal involving White needs to start with a 1st round pick. Anything else is gravy.

1 FRP and some SRPs. I don't care about Jett Howard and I doubt they trade Black.
We're still in the negative as far as draft capital. I'd focus on replenishing our draft capital.

Looks like the Magic has the exceptions to eat White's contract outright. The Bulls send Coby White to the Magic for Lottery protected 2025, and 2025 Nuggets first round pick.

I haven't been on social media in many years, but I joined bluesky recently. Are there any good recommendations for NBA and more specifically Bulls news?

IMO Coby’s value is nearly worthless right now. I think lotto-protected first is the best bet, but he’s another season away from being a UFA.
And btw, his on/off numbers are the worst since his rookie year. He’s net-negative. He needs to rebuild his value (to last year) to net a lotto-protected first. I think he’ll play better after the trade deadline, but I just don’t see his trade value.
I’m coming around to offering him a 45/3 extension and seeing if he’ll accept. Continue waiting into the next decade for his game to come around.
It’s interesting we got Tre Jones. Much smaller, but similar caliber guard.

Personally, I would rather keep Coby White. Josh Giddey is the guy I would be trying to move. I would trade Giddey straight up for the Nuggets 2025 1st.
