AKME stands pat

Unbullievable, but not really knowing these clowns.
If anything, Vuc should have been traded before Zach. Coby probably had atleast some value. GSW was interested in Vuc a while ago. Should have struck when the iron is hot.
So i presume we continue to toil in play-in mediocrity, while developing nobody as Jalen Smith continues to get 14 minutes a game when he should be starting. AND we now have to integrate a couple more mediocre vets like Collins and Tre.
As their peers have voted, bottom 5 Front office. Only team I can say did worse was phoenix , who pissed off KD, spent a 1st to move Nurkic and did absolutely nothing to make use of it.

You mean except for trading the most important, best, and most highly paid player on the team?

No, they didn’t stand pat. They moved the arrest contract that we had and regained control of our 2025 pick. I thought they would have moved Vuc as well. But it’s possible that they decided to take a calculated gamble on the idea that his value will be higher this summer as an expiring. Same applies to Coby.
Just because we’re tearing down doesn’t mean that we’re obligated to cave to other teams so that they can get better.

After sunday's trade, we were told "they're far from done yet". Turns out, yes they were. And Vuc should have been moved 2 months ago when warriors were calling about him. He does us zero favors by continuing to start and soak up 35 minutes a night

Except that is exactly what we did with Lavine. So why not stick to the plan you committed to? I find it hard to believe that it's because they were going to cave to other team's demands. Even if that's the case, Vuc's trade value won't be going up.
People are just getting pissed off at the half measures, because the organization can't help but constantly sell the idea of "being competitive" to the fanbase.

Basically for free too. Someone here made a good point that S.A. compensated us with our pick back for taking on their junk. Sacramento got Lavine from us for free

That trade was a simple cleanup for a overpay.

I dont think I ever hated any GM more than I hate this robotic clown. He was reading again entire opening statement, like ChatGPT... He couldnt just talk like normal person, like normal GM?? Beyond cringy,annoying..
And again, pretty much zero moves.. no freaking clear direction lol! Now he wants playoffs again, while trading away our Best player!? I mean,I just cant stand this moron! We should've traded away Vooch first, if anybody.. then Zach and Coby.. we could easily kept out pick while tanking.. now we have even more crowded backcourt with two vets, crowded frontcourt with addition of Collins.
Why is Michael Reinsdorf still allowing this, he just doesnt care or..? AKME should be fired one second after deadline passed..

I have zero confidence in this front office. It doesn't mean they don't have a chance to turn it around, but I need to start seeing so decisive action before I can regain confidence in them.
All that they have shown is that they are reactionary and not forward thinking, and have horrendous asset management, which is a recipe for disaster in the NBA. They wasted prime years of Zach, Alex, DeMar and Vuc, and to top it off, they got little to nothing in return for the three players they eventually traded, in terms of wins, but also as far as return assets.
The fact that he still has the mindset of if we get in the playin/playoffs great, if we get a high pick, that's great too, just shows he has no clear idea and vision of where he wants this team to go. That's not to say that they should GUT THIS TEAM - I don't believe that is the only way to rebuild a team, but pick a lane, either go for the playoffs with a young group, by consolidating some talent for better talent to actually form a cohesive team without so much glut, or trade away some of the veterans like Vuc for whatever you can get, and put the team in a position where they are more likely to lose than win without totally gutting the talent from the roster.
This is akin to being in a relationship with a person you know you butt heads with, and you go through the same song and dance over and over again, hoping that things will change, yet knowing that nothing will change. It's just unfortunate that the Bulls are the only sports franchise I have an invested interest in, and I'll stupidly stick with them for the long haul. I just don't think much will change in a positive way until we change our front office, which means that we are likely in for continued wasted and head scratching seasons for a several years yet.

And? The most important player, by a mile, for the Bulls to move this year was Lavine and then they did it at the trade deadline. And you start a thread staying the team stood pat. Doesn't compute, but whatever.

Not for free, we gave them back their 2028 2nd round pick from the Derozan trade 6 months ago.

Disappointing, but not surprised. Why does AK continue to think this direction is working? The Bulls are currently on pace for 35 wins. Last year was 39 and the year before that 40.
I wouldn't be surprised if next year Vucevic reverts to his regular career averages. How much will Giddey get in the off season?
I'm glad the Bulls have their pick back, but why not try to move up in the draft? Is another #11 pick in the near future?
