Feel like since Vuc’s re-integration, we’re back to losing more and playing catch-up from the opening tip. Whatever bum’s matched up at C is gonna get a season-high FG%, rebounds and loose balls will be lost, offensive boards and 2nd chance points will be off the menu… while the paint becomes a lay-up drill.

Might be closer than people expect then. Not a lot of sample size, but without Sabonis the Kings are only a 40% win team. We're 60% in our last 10. But is Giddey playing?

Don’t think DeMar will care too much. Zach will desperately want the win against us though. Demar was treated great by Chicago. Zach not so much at times.

it's obvious the team plays better with Collins /stix it's frustrating as hell this team is playing dudes because of their contract pat/vuc . Play the best basketball players period .rosenthall wrote:MrSparkle wrote:Feel like since Vuc’s re-integration, we’re back to losing more and playing catch-up from the opening tip. I think our surge after the trade was a lot of hot air, but being Vuc-less was not. Unless you have a very special roster, it's really hard to field a good team with him as your starting center. Collins / Smith gives you a way better floor most nights.
I'm actually glad Billy put him back in the starting lineup, because he hurts most there. It's an effective way to do an analytics tank. Off the bench he's actually not that bad. He's a 20 MPG bumslayer at this point in his career.
I'm glad we have him in the lineup for the rest of the year, but that last year of guaranteed money on his contract really stings.
Really wish we had negotiated a PO for it when we signed him to the extension.

He is on pace for 40 points and 40 rebounds and 16 assists currently.
