PG: A shot from down under!!

Post#1 » by DASMACKDOWN » Fri Mar 28, 2025 2:40 am

This one deserved an actual post game thread.

What a finish! Probably one of the most iconic finishes we will ever see from the Bulls. It has to rank up there. Down 18 in the 4th, we found a way down 5 with 15 seconds to go to win this game.

Coby, then PWill, then Josh Giddey from half court to win. Amazing.

Wow, what a game. I was watching it with three Laker fans and I’m the lone Bulls fan. It looked like it was over and I agreed. My wife even jokingly said “you need to sleep on the couch because beds are for winners.” And then all that happened. I am flying so high right now. I love being able to care about Bulls games again.

That wasn't just luck ... of course it was some luck for sure ... but it wasn't JUST luck. That Pat 3 and Coby 3 was from some of hte most beautiful and DELIBERATE basketball I've seen.

What a play drawn up by Billy!!! As a Bulls fan, I cannot remember a play out of timeout that I so admired as much as this ... not since the Baby Bulls and some Ben Gordon drawn up plays I feel like.

The Vuc pass and Pat quick trigger. Chef's Kiss! Giddey and Pat pressure for steal, Giddey finding Coby like that and Coby getting to spot with such instinct. That was just beautiful.

Then the Giddey to Pat and Pat right back to Giddey. I know that may seem simple, but that's TEAM UNDERSTANDING AND COHESION. A year ago, the inbounder looking for Coby(or Lavine) and not being able to find him, tossing it to Pat ... Pat probably runs himself to try a hail mary ... but this team KNOWS WHO IT'S LEADERS ARE! And he got that back to Giddey no question

Those b2b 3Ps were some Reggie Miller shenanigans... then to follow with the next sequence? Crazy. Bulls might get mentioned on national TV again.

Just crazy.

Can't believe they kept switching Vuc after it was obvious they were getting guards on him.

One of the most exciting Bulls games I can remember and I've been watching them for 35 years. What a game!!!! Just when I was saying Giddey wasn't clutch, he clutched TF up!

Props to Pat too. It will be overlooked but he made two HUGE 3s in clutch time.

I watched end of first half ... watch a show with wife. Then saw down 8 with 7 and turned it on. Thought for sure we'd be on losing end.

Did I hear right, we were down 18 in the 4th quarter at one point?! Somehow THAT fact will probably get lost in what was the most incredible, unbelievable final 10 seconds.
