It really wouldn't be fair for Utah unless we threw in the lube for free.

Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this serious?

Yeah, I could possibly go with that. Subtract Price for Brewer, and you have me sold w./out a doubt. I love NOC, but I think going with AK47 improves us athletically and defensively!

The problem is that he seems to speak for himself rather than the typical Jazz Forum member:

I am a Jazz fan, but I understand we got to give up a little to get something we need.

Now I'm confused.

But keep posting these trades. They are getting better. In a few weeks we should be getting Malone and Stockton.

exactly meaning, we are getting enough in return but you want to replace price with brewer but we can't get robbed on the whole deal, we both gotta win.

I'm actually surprised that a Jazz fan would offer this. How exactly does this make the Jazz better? The Bulls make out like bandits in this deal.

The only thing that I can think of is that AK value is down and Okur is having one of his down seasons. The price for both is low right now. How much longer is left on the contracts of AK and Okur?

Oh yeah i'd do that.

Okur has not impressed this year. AK 47 has been pretty darn productive.

I just don't think its realistic. I could see Utah falling for the Chapu myth, though.

Jazz players your getting

Contracts:
Andrei Kirilenko - about $15.5 million for the next 4 years
Mehmet Okur - $8.5 million for the next 3 years
Ronnie Price - $1.1 million for the next 2 years

Wow, I knew Kirilenko's contract was bad, but I didn't know it was THAT bad. I think talent wise the Bulls still win big on this deal. However, considering that the Bulls are pretty set on NOT going over the lux tax, even if the Jazz were to offer this to us, I bet we decline.

at this point we are only going to be able to trade ben by taking back a similarly bad contract.

While I am not one of those who feels a need to get rid of Big Ben at all costs, this trade would be of interest to me.

I see AK 47 as a complimentary player and Okur as a near all-star when at his best.

better

I really think if all Utah is looking for is interior defense out of Wallace I think thats all they would need cause I think Wallace is slightly better defensively then Okur.
