North: Will Noah take Tryus' minutes away if he doesn't hustle more?
Boylan: I'm gonna rely on my Veterans. Told players that. Shortened rotation. Will try to work in younger players as he can. Lucky that he recently got games out of Gray and Noah.
Is a guy that believes that Vets lead the team, need to set the tone for the entire team. Have done an oustanding job (Vets)

Vets have responded better towards him than Skiles, but the Vets aren't gonna develop us into a contender.

Oh no, Skiles = Wormtongue. Skiles is going to become a bogeyman like Jim Paxson is to John around here, poisoning Boylan's idea about the team and who to play. Get a restraining order on his dealings with the Bulls.

I have a feeling, Tyrus will be traded soon.

I'd absolutely hate that, because we would be the team that would lose in that trade since Tyrus hasnt that much value these days!!
And I really DONT wanna regret a trade once again, we had that before...

In all fairness to Boylan, he's doing a pretty darn good job with the rotations, even at the expense of the young guys. He's right in that your vets are the ones to lead your team and we've been getting that.
We simply have too many guys in the front court that are worthy of substantial minutes. It'd be great if Pax can turn Nocioni and change into a 2/3 type of guy to help out (see the sig) or if he can dump Wallace on someone. If Pax could pull of either one, Cliff Levingston doesn't think Boylan would pull a Skiles and bring Adrian Griffin off the bench for heavy minutes; he'd rely upon the young guys more.

Boylan said he's a vet guy, he's sticking with his vets and will try to get his young guys in when he can.. he mentioned good games from Gray and Noah... did not say Tyrus' name once in the interview.
Boylan also said something very interesting coupled with KC Johnson's comments yesterday... He's going to stick with the vets until he's given an indication that he has to change. Couple that with KC Johnson saying that he heard Paxson say that he may have to demand more minutes for his young guys, it would seem to me that during their talk during the Spurs gameday, it was that Paxson has given Boylan some rope to get this team back to where it needs to be or we make moves and start getting the young guys into the regular rotation.
I'm really thinking next year we're going to look back at this year as a complete waste and use next year to develop our young guys virtually making us wait another year before we really know what this team can do at full power with everyone developed.

^^if that happens, it will be shame and a major black mark against Pax's resume to date.

I'm having a really hard time believing that unless its part of a MAJOR deal.
Paxson has seen what getting rid of a young athletic big can lead to as evidenced by the Chandler situation. Also, Paxson is extremely high on Thomas' talent and even noted specifically that he wants to see him play more.
