1. Not trading for Kevin Garnett
2. Not trading for Kobe Bryant
3. Trading away Chandler and signing Ben Wallace
4. No trading for a low post PF like Gasol
5. Not signing a big SG in the offseason
6. Not trading Deng or Gordon at start of season when they declined their deals.
7. Signing Ben Wallace to a ridiculous contract when he had Chandler (same player)
8. Being too loyal to his young draft talent when he couldn've had a star
9. Not trading for a superstar
10. Waiting for almost 2 years and counting to fix a problem which he and the fans know about.

I haven't been angry as a Bulls fan since the Matt Maloney, Chris Carr, Dragan Tarlac and Chris Anstey Days. I'm fuming.

#3 and #7 are basically the same thing, and those are the only things I agree with

Everything else on your list is based on conjecture. We don't know what deals were out there. You can't rip Paxson for not making a move that never had the potential of happening outside of Sam Smith's mind, the New York Post, or the "brain trust" at ESPiN.

At least spell homeboy's name right! He did net us championship #3!

VVVV I agree with SHILL, some of those points are redundant and are intertwined with other points.

After closer examination, that list needs to be completely redone. It's really redundant.

Ur tellin me that what Boston gave up to Minny was better than what Bulls could offer???

Come on dude, can't you see that Paxon is a scared @itch @ss Gm with no balls at all based on his last 2 years?

Why don't you provide your own list and let me critique it ??

1 2 and 9 are the same thing.

You might as well add not getting married to Halle Berry or not man a shuttle to the moon.

Reports had us agreeing to a trade for Kobe but Kobe rejecting because he wanted Deng to stay.

We made an offer for KG but like every other team at the time was told that he wasn't available

According to KC Johnson, and Pax himself, what Pax offered was better than Bostons offer.

Dude, bash away at the GM, but at least spell his name right. The reason I had to fix your other thread names were spelling issues.

.......

Overall, I think the fundamental problem with the team is, was and always will be ownership.

Paxson's primary mistake has been taking the philosophy of winning with defense and rebounding to an extreme. By drafting and acquiring so many defense and rebounding specialists, he created a team that is too unbalanced to be competitive on a continual basis.

I personally think a lot of the individuals on this team would look a lot better in the right situation.

I do realize now that there are some similarities between the #'s in the list. But not giving up Deng to get Bryant is only a move compared to not Drafting Jordan to get Sam Bowie.

Great job Paxon

Do we have any idea what that is? I remember earlier in the summer reading a report (I'm not sure how accurate it was) that we offered PJ, Ty, JoNo, and other fillers for KG

Eh, you know, I've supported Paxson's moves up to this point. I think if there's one thing he overlooked, it's that keeping a 1-12 roster together works in NCAA, but it does not work in the NBA, where egos are bigger, more games are played (more time to get sick of each other), coaches aren't always going to get their way with the players, etc.

He just became too attached to his players... we did too. It clouded all our visions! Oh well. This team is far from hopeless!

I'm surprised not seeing "Drafting Aldridge & then Trading him away for Tyrus Thomas."

Keep in mind, that some of those Draft choices aren't soley on PAXSON. To defend PAXSON (& Skiles too!) I do recall reports coming out from Deerfield (i.e. Berto Center) that Scooter & Pax didn't think LMA was tough enough as a PF/C. Hence we went with TT.

Again, this is all speculation.

You don't know what went on behind the scenes. Ever stop to think KG wanted to play with Pierce and Ray Allen instead of Hinrich and Nocioni, and McHale appeased him? Or that McHale gave his former teammate a sweetheart deal?

According to Sam Smith, we gave Minny a much better offer in '06, but they turned it down. They waited too long to trade KG, then cobbled together a crappy deal.

'Twas impossible to give up Deng for Bryant if Kobe vetoes every deal that has him not playing with Deng
