Dunno abt you guys... but seems to me this crap here is really an empty vassel.... empty vessels make the loudest noises...

haha... how many playoffs appearance since his trade... let me think hard... erm... was it none ?? And he is talking abt Pax ??

Whose the one with the heart problem both physically and mentally... he could have been such a hit and low-post scorer for us...

Which brings me back... he is the last person that is eligible to criticise Skiles when he is crap by NBA standards... I am starting to believe he is having an affair with Isiah man... kekeke

It was a conspiracy from the start man ... to get himself to the Knicks... maybe Isiah broke his hear when he told him," Eddy, it's Knicks or nothing man ..."

wat do you guys think ??

Knicks' Curry Takes Shot At Paxson
January 8, 2008 - 6:07 am
New York Post -
Former Bull Eddy Curry took a shot at Chicago GM John Paxson for his timing on the Scott Skiles firing.

"It was crazy they let him go Christmas Eve," Curry said.

Paxson would not give Curry a long-term deal because of his irregular heartbeat. Curry is not a fan of Paxson - or of Skiles.

"He's extremely hard on you, especially (when) you're going as hard as you can and he continues to push us," Curry said. "I'm pretty sure you can only take so much."

"Hello. My name is Eddy Curry. I play for the New York Knicks. Since my coach is named Isiah Thomas, which means that by default my season is basically over right about now, so I'll turn my attention over to the team that traded me, which I so badly want to be on these days. I'm lying when I call John Paxson crazy. I'm actually secretly in love with John and his vision. I often fatasize about John being naked in a hot tub with nothing but Krispy Kreme doughnuts surrounding him. So there. Now you know I act like a 16-year old girl when it comes to talking about the past and my true inner feelings."

Let's not make something out of nothing. Many of you said the exact same.

Exactly, bullzman23. They better not make us have to bump some old threads.

that heart thing i think now was overblown by cheap bulls organization... they saw a way to get him for cheap and went for it. i think lamarcus had the same heart issue didn't he? blazers didn't treat LA like bulls front office did with curry.

LaMarcus is still on his rookie contract, so what you're saying couldn't be more wrong for now. Eddy was about to re-sign when that entire thing went down. Besides, he missed the final part of the season and the entire playoff series against Washington. I highly doubt the Bulls were planning to diagnose him with heart issues.

:noway: Your still around Eddy, it must not have been more than you could take.

The only thing that could possibly make the Knicks circus more entertaining than it already is, is if they canned Zeke and hired Skiles. Crawford and Curry would skip the country.

That WOULD be hilarious.

Also, Eddy had passed out in practice earlier that season - a fact that was not revealed until after the trade (although the info was shared with the Knicks when trade talks were on-going).

Plus the year or two before, Curry reported to the team & reporters that his mom had had a heart attack - which Curry's agents later denied. Of course, why would a person report his mom as having a heart attack if she really didnt?

Can you verify these two things?

This quote is pretty telling about Curry's motor. Curry is a 7 foot wuss.
Curry needs a coach like Skiles to get the most out of his underachieving body.

yet another reason for posters to stop thinking we'll trade to get him back.

There really is no venom in comments that eddy makes. He's just a "big kid" like Antonio Davis called him.

Eddy was liked as a person by all his teammates on Bulls & the same apparently applies to the Knicks. He is just a very simple guy who does not have hidden agendas.

Eddy can easily be made to say things by the press - who can put a spin on them. Eddy's comments arent going to bother anyone on the Bulls

I dont have time. I am about to go to work. It's almost 5 am.

But they were brought up right after the trade. Paxson made the error of mentioning the training room incident & Eddy threthened to sue for revealing that info.

The mom thing was brought out by writers at the time of the DNA flap. That was one reason Bulls wanted to test him because they were worried about a family history of heart issues

If no one else can supply them, I'll look for them when I come home. They are on some old threads but the links are probably not good anymore

Losers say loser-like stuff. He can go ahead and talk the trash right now, tonight will be a different story. NOC will be waiting by the basket for another block!

I can't verify them with links, but I can say I remember both things being reported.

The thing about him passing out in practice was a definite.

The thing about his mom and the heart attack was like Bulls6 said, there were reports that he told the Bulls organization his mom had a heart attack and Eddy denied ever doing so. If I'm not mistaken and who knows about that, the heart attack thing was mentioned by a beat reporter who said Eddy reported a heart attack by his mom and not by the organization. Eddy then denied that report. So that didn't strike me as so concrete (since you didn't have the Bulls saying Eddy told them that). The beat reporter could have been wrong in this case.

However, if Eddy was missing practice or something like that because his mom had a heart attack then it would have been pretty memorable. Without slamming Eddy, I would also leave open the possibility that as a 19 year old he said his mom had a heart attack to get out of a practice. It sounds awful, but you could easily see a 19 year old kid making up a story like that to get out of a practice.

When exactly did THIS happen?

Hey Eddy, you goof:

"Jump."

Best advice you ever got.

Criticism of the timing of the firing is justified. Do the Bulls even have a PR department? No one would have said a word if it was done on Dec 20th or Dec 28th. But, this is really old news now....
