Would you Bulls fans do this trade?
Lakers trade
Kwame brown(expiring contract)
Vlad Rad
to Bulls for
Ben Wallace
You all seem to want Wallace gone, so if you get rid of him for an expiring contract and Vlad's contract would you do it?
Also why don't you guys like Wallace? I watched the Bulls/Blazers game the other day and thought he looked amazing! He was blocking shots and all over the place on D. A Blazer player was shooting what looked to be a wide open 3(or long 2) and Ben closed on him so fast and blocked the shot. I dont see the guy play often but when I do he looks good to me.

Yes. Kwame would actually be excellent next to Tyrus (and Noah) defensively. I would like this trade a lot.

Huh? we could care less about Kwame on the FLOOR. we just want that contract..
I think Wallace would do well with Kobe & Phil
G Fisher
G Bryant
F Odom
F Wallace
C Bynum

I like it as well. Kwame would be serviceable for the season, and its a nice deal for the Lakers. How much time is left on Vlad's contract??

Vlad has 1 more year than Wallace. I think its a great trade and makes sence for both teams. I would love the lakers starting line up if it happened, but my fellow Laker fans dont like it for whatever reason

Probably because they are wondering how much tick is left in Big Ben's clock(I wonder myself.).
However if the Lakers think it could add up to a nice playoff run.....but i doubt LA would pull the trigger on that one.

Terrible deal for the Bulls . They give up the best player in the trade.
And Vlad has a terrible contract also

Did you mean to put that first part in green? Ben Wallace our best player?

I think he means best player "involved in the trade".

Kwame would not be excellent alongside any player. He is rubbish. Though, id still do the trade, my thoughts would be that we're trading Wallace for trash so our youngs can get all the mintues.

I actually think Radmanovic could play the Songaila role extremely well. However, I'd still rather get Derek Fisher or a bunch of garbage salary instead of getting him back, because it would make more sense for the team financially as well as helping to develop our other PF. Besides, resigning Kwame might not be a bad thing to have; he's not going to get that much money as is. I really think a Kwame for Wallace deal makes sense for more than just the cap dump reason. I really think he can be at least a good backup center for the team considering our other young bigs are more of help defenders overall than anything. And that's just a second option to having a lot more money saved. Additionally, the sooner we get his expiring contract, the quicker we could pair other players with it, that would help so extremely in a deal for another player. I think regardless of what happens(barring a Lakers championship), the Bulls would no doubt end up getting the better end of the deal, even if they included a second rounder or so

I said the Bulls give up the Best player in the trade . Not the best player on the team . Learn how to read .

doug thonus has been advocating this exact trade for at least 2 months.
When he sees someone stole his idea, he will.......

This trade makes the Bulls Weaker
Plus I doubt either one will get much playing time

The key is to just dump Ben. Addition by subtraction
Anything is OK as long as its not a worse contract

But if this team wants to make the playoffs they will need him . Look at his defense against Shaq

If the Lakers put their first round draft pick in the pot, I'd do the deal. If not, Vlad Rad's extra year would make me say no.

At first I thought yes, but keeping our contracts expiring in the same year as LeBron's UFA year is more important.
this doesn't push the team forward in a talent way, and it keeps money on the books 1 additional year.

However, Doug, there might be a team that is willing to take Vlad Rad for a 2 year deal in return (like Jerome James)... I'd still want a pick, though.
