Got a link?

This rumour was going round a while earlier, no proof that any discussion was taking place.

For the love of god make it happen.

I could actually stay conscious during a Bulls game this season if it happened.

I'm sorry, but this team is really boring to watch and McGrady is exciting to watch.

Wasn't this another Sam Smith rumor? So it probably doesn't have much truth to it...

Also, McGrady is hurt ALL THE TIME, so it wouldn't be wise to overpay for him -- especially since he's another so-called superstar who's neer won in the postseason. If it's more than an unvalidated rumor, and the Bulls can get him for Duhon + Nocioni + filler, or something along those lines, then's worth taking a risk on. But do't blow up the team for him.

I threw this out there last week, since I've recently gotten into the fantasy trade scenarios and all:

A few big ifs, but IF the Rockets want to move T-Mac and IF they're willing to take back Wallace, and IF the Bulls are willing to take back some wasted filler, then the following deal works:

Wallace, Hinrich, and Noc
McGrady, Scola, Mike James, Head

Personally I think both Wallace and Kirk would thrive playing alongside a big in Ming.

BG/Duhon/James
McGrady/Head
Deng/Sefolosha
TT/Scola
Noah/Smith/Gray

Kirk/Alston
Wells/Francis
Battier/Noc
Wallace/Hayes
Ming/Mutombo

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/t...&cash=

Even if T-Mac only gives us 60 games per year, I'd still do this deal as it opens up our frontcourt giving us a nice 4 man rotation in Deng/TT/Scola/Noah with Smith and Gray filling in spot minutes.

Then we can explore some trade options to include Duhon, Khryapa and perhaps our pick for another big guard/wing

I wouldnt mind giving up a package that featured Kirk and Nocioni..

Which one is it? Keep in mind I didn't register so that might be why. There is three BBS I have seen BBS hangout, BBS hangout: Debate and discussion, and bbs classified. I went to those fourms and I didn't see the thread unless I'm blind or I may need to register to view that particular forum.

have you watched ben gordon played? forget about TMAC making bonehead jumpshots at the end of games, ben gordon takes boneheaded THREE's at the end of games, the only upside to ben is that he drives to the basket

When does Gordon ever drive to the basket?

isnt a mcgrady trade bad, didnt he say last year or year before that he is definitely going to retire after his contract is over.

When McGrady gets hot, there is nothing anyone on thios planet can do to stop him 13 points in 30 seconds on bruce bowen. before hes elbow injury, he led the league in points earlier this year. however, having said all that, he's contract is horrible. 19 mill this year, 21 mill next year and 23 mill in 2 years.

And I thought we as Bulls fans overvalue our players. Just read the first 5 pages of that thread and you'll see we have major company.

Here are some highlights:

In NBA, the rule has always been, Never trade a superstar for a bunch of faked stars. Please say no to Deng, Gordon, Thomas, Hinrich etc etc.

A superstar that plays 60 games a year at $18m per? Really? He probably wasn't around to see AI's return.

Deng+Hinrich+2 1st rounders IMO

But to be fair, it would have to start with Deng, perhaps Hinrich, and other trade fillers, and not include the over the hill guy.

 You think they've noticed?

i don't really want anything from chicago

Deng, Tyrus Thomas, Ben Gordon, and 2 1st round picks and lots of cash
for TMAC and 2nd round pick. if we get anything short i will be pissed!

Don't be silly, it's once in a while.  :P

Honestly I wouldn't want T-Mac for a few reasons....

1.) We have advance to the first round last year, T-Mac haven't advanced to the first round ever his whole entire career.

2.) Most important his health issues especially his back injury was and still is worrying me. Times you have to take risks, but they are times you shouldn't take risks and this is the time I wouldn't take this kind of risk. Now if they are willing to trade Yao Ming then I think about it

Whether the rumors are true or not, I wouldn't get too excited. Paxson's idea of talking seems to be, "Hey, you guys want to get ripped off? No? Thanks, bye." Then he tells the media the other team was not seriously interested in dealing.

Hinrich
McGrady
Deng
Joe
Noah/Gray

Fine by me. That actually looks like a real NBA team right there. In fact, it looks like the 4th best team in the East with an actual upside. T-Mac got to the line over 8 times a game in the playoffs last year. And that was against Utah and that huge front court of theirs with Kirilenko all over him. I'll take 60 games a year for a guy we can depend on for 25 a night come playoff time when the whole defense is geared toward stopping him. At some point Pax is gonna have to land one of these elite players who are just given away to other teams while still in their prime.
