Hahaha.. whatever happened to Julian Wright? He has been VERY quiet since he entered the league. Oh wait, he is only a rookie. Boy, it seems like he has been in the league for a very long time already..

That was just awesome!!! We should lobby for a The Almost Dunk Contest..

We have two really good contestents in Wallace and Joe Smith. They have already missed or got blocked by the rim a handful of times this season already..

Chris Andersen. It could be his perfect re-entry scheme.

Another player I actually don't mind see him enter in the slam dunk contest again, for this year slam contest is Josh Smith.

Chris Anderson and Nate Robionson were the two players that killed the Dunk Contest...

What we need is weight and height devisioned dunk contests. Just a single round competition against their own weight and height devision, and then one final against each other just for the sake of it.

The 6 feet and under.

The guard/small forwards.

The 7 foot players who play small forward because their wimps.

The 280-300 plus pounders.

Glad you guys enjoyed that Julian Wright clip.

No matter how many times I've seen it, it still makes me smile.

On a more serious note, id like to see Sean Williams get an invite to the dunk contest. He is a little on the taller side, but he can really get up and dunk with authority.

On a side not, people are going to regret passing him up because of his "smoking weed" habits in the past. He is going to be a beast..

.. right now, i would easily trade either Tyrus or Noah for him. He is just as raw as them, but i think he has alot more upside then either Tyrus or Noah. And how can you possibly not love a big man who wheres the number 51! Im sorry, but if your a power forward or center you should never EVER wear a number under 30.. it should be a rule. Plus 51 looks just awesome for some reason... and its original.

But who really cares anyway?

QFT

Iggy got robbed in the Nate Robinson 17-attempts-to-complete-a-dunk fiasco as well. I'd like to see him back.

Add Jamario Moon, Rudy Gay, LeBron James, and Trevor Ariza and call it a day.

Ben Wallace
Chris Duhon
Eric Snow
Dan Dickau

First one to make a dunk wins. I predict the contest lasts for about four hours before Big Ben jacks up a shot while falling over which bounces off the shot clock and somehow goes into the hoop. The judges rule it a dunk just to end the misery.
I'd always thought of propane as a dignified lady. But she can also be a dirty girl.

they need to make this the "NBA Cares Dunk for Charity" contest.
best dunk nets $1mil for players charity of choice.

then send a memo to all the players and ask who wants to participate and take 10 of them who are genuinely interested. imagine: you could end up with a guy making the leauge minumum donating $1mil to a charity.

also:
the little man who can dunk has been overdone.

you blow the dunk, you don't get a second chance

forget the celebrity judges too, they don't even talk.

i'd also like to see Howard plant a big VOTE sticker up there this year and then just walk off the floor after the dunk.

Actually... who the hell cares about the NBA right now.

The college game is soooooo much better. I can't stand the complaining and contract disputes anymore. With my Bulls in turmoil im just completely shut down on the league right now.

The dunk comp is a joke. Vince brought it back and now it sucks again.

I'd love to see Vince, Kobe, LeBron, and Josh Smith compete.

A lot of good names have been mentioned but I would like to see Lebron and Kobe in it again. Won't happen... so I guess I would like to add Travis Outlaw to the list.
