Okay. I don't care WHAT you guys say, I have to put this one up. DeShawn Stevenson. He comes up on TWO lists. You want an SG with size who can pass to play alongside Ben Gordon? Check out these two lists on SG's in Assists per 48, keeping in mind we need someone who can defend SG's, excluding Jarret Jack and Charlie Bell:

I think he's worth a look. Maybe not the shooter we need, but another fair consideration as a replacement for Chris Duhon.

I would trade Smith if it was necessary. Focus on getting young this season. That is what they should have done the summer they had cap room anyway. Time to take back mistakes and retool for another important summer.

I would add Kirk Hinrich and Ben Wallace to that list, not only because they are underperforming, but because they are the FATTEST contracts on our payroll at the same time, along with Nocioni's. We have too much money heavily invested in clincal role players to be able to pay stand out players, either through re-negotiation (Gordon/Deng) or consolidation trades of our guppy contracts for a solid player.

How about Gerald Green or Gordan Giricek. They can both be had for expirings. Neither is a good defender but both can put the ball in the hole. They could both contribute here now that Du has developed an allergy to making shots (as opposed to drinking them).

Still not sold? Did I mention Green can dunk? Yeah, thought so.

EDIT: And Juan Carlos Navarro too. Memphis won't trade him because they traded a first rounder for him (heavily protected) and he's cheap. I've been including him in pretty much all my Gasol trade proposals. If we trade for Gasol I really want JCN to come with him.
I'd always thought of propane as a dignified lady. But she can also be a dirty girl.

Francisco Garcia is one hell of a ball player. I'd love to have him round out a three guard rotation, but I doubt he's available. Plays with great passion and aggressiveness.
