They were speculating he missed a practice or something, but now they said they're hearing he got into a verbal or some kind of confrontation with an assistant coach

Team cancer. No team could ever win with somebody of his ilk.

Those respected coaches - none of whom seem to know anything about basketball but are good "yes men"???

I bet it was Pete Myers.

Thomas and Gray should get tons of PT. I bet Noah wants to be traded.

I would bet most of the roster wants out of Chicago.

Anyone notice that under this coaching team (with and now without Skiles), only the BIGS tend to get into trouble???

Methinks its a tendency to not use them properly that provokes these reactions from the Chicago BIGS.

and Boylan has already stated that Bulls will not add another assistant. I had link in another thread. It does not say if it was Boylan's decision or if paxson really didnt mean it when he offered a big man coach

The Bulls placed Joakim Noah on the inactive list for Friday's game against the 76ers after the rookie got into an oral altercation with assistant coach Ron Adams at the morning shootaround.

Interim coach Jim Boylan called the matter "an internal issue" and wouldn't elaborate.

Noah called the incident a learning experience and said he overreacted.

Demetris Nichols, recently recalled from the Development League, took Noah's place on the active roster. The Bulls also are without Luol Deng, who missed his third straight game with tendinitis in his left Achilles.

Also, the flu bug that is affecting Kirk Hinrich and Andres Nocioni has spread to Ben Wallace and Chris Duhon.

Kirk, Duhon, Noce, & Big Ben all got the flu? Yikes. Lets see if they play like Kobe or MJ when they have the flu.

Noah thing doesn't bother me too much.

Why do the Bulls keep these pathetic assistants after the coach is fired? Ron Adams was hired during cartwright's tenure and stayed under skiles. It really seems as though most of them are useless and do little to actually develop the players.

My understanding is that Ron Adams is a pretty highly respected assistant coach in the association.

How is it that Noah being disciplined has turned into a thread bashing the assistant coaches (again) and the Bulls lack of hiring additional assistants (again)?

With both gaurds battling the flu I think we should see a lot of thabo AG and hopefully a lot of DN. I'd like to see what this kids got, he cant be worse than thabos been this year right? So a lot of minutes to Tyrus and should be a ton of minutes to Joe Smith and hopefully Gray.

Should be a learning experience tonight. I'm glad to see the young guns getting minutes however not the way i wanted to see it but they are still getting good minutes.

I think it's a little unfair to attack the assistants, sure we probably don't have the best assistants in the league but we know little about this situation. Joakim probably just made a mistake, it's not a big deal, he is being disciplined.

Feel free to criticize the staff, just don't do it based off the fact that Joakim has been suspended for a confrontation that involved him and a coach.

Unless we learn more about the incident, as far as we know Joakim made a mistake, and I'm pretty sure that is the reality of the situation too.

These assistants stay around because they are cheap, yes-men.

Myers has been there for years, yet never seems to teach anyone anything.

Skiles only brought in ONE assistant - Boylan. Boylan hasnt brought in anyone.

These assistants are respected? by whom? Their results certainly dont warrant respect from anyone around the league,

Is Ron Adams the rat faced guy that wears the glasses?

Sure, sit Noah out when our starting center has the flu. Genius!
