Time to start Gordon and bench Wallace?

Gordon is shooting pretty good again, which has been the objective of benching him in the past to get him on track. Plus this starting lineup is not playing well we are falling behind to early. It would make perfect sense to start gordon again. And benching wallace well just makes sense because of his horrid offensive and defensive play.

Time to start:
BG
Deng
Noc
TT
Gray
With Kirk and JamesOn (let's see what the kid can do) as the guards off the bench
And Noah and Thabo (and Smith when needed).
Lets see if Ben can play the point, if Deng can play the 2, and which of our young guys is worth keeping.
Trade Wallace for anybody, package him with Kirk.

I think it's time to put Gordon back in and put Tyrus in as well get Wallace out.
PG: Hinrich
SG: Gordon
SF: Deng
SF: Smith
C: Tyrus or Gray
The we'll have 4 people that can score in that lineup. Duhon, Nocioni, and Wallace off the bench with the energy.

If they don't want to move Gordon back ino the lineup, then why not try this:
Hinrich
Sefolosha
Deng
Smith
Gray
with 2nd 5 of:
Duhon
Gordon
Nocioni
Thomas
Wallace/Noah

Wallace and Duhon needs to sit I would do
PG:Thabo/ Kirk
SG: Kirk/ Gordon
SF: Deng/ Nocioni
PF: Smith/ Tyrus
C: Noah/ Gray/ Wallace
Thabo has been playing well the last two games it's time give him a chance instead of Duhon. The team needs Thabo, Noah, Tyrus, and Gray to play about 25 minutes a game now this team is not going get any better whe might well have chance with the younger guys we are getting blowed out anyways.

Even though we all want to bench him, it's sort of difficult to justify benching him with his recent play. He's not there to score, so we can't really be angry with his awful shooting percentages. He's being paid to rebound and block shots and he's done that fairly well under Boylan.
Kirk and Duhon on the other hand...

oddly enough the players that get extra time in an attempt to win (Wallace/Duhon mainly) are the guys causing us to lose. If we replace them in an effort to tank, we'll start winning (more than we are now, we suck to bad to turn it all around).

I suspect JR & Paxson promised him minimum number of minutes & minute number of offensive plays run for him
The $60 million wasnt enough - we had to guarantee that he would play
There really isnt too much that can be done about it

I don't know if we've promised Wallace minutes or not, but I've got to think that Paxson himself wouldn't wan't Wallace completely benched. If he can get his rpg to nearly 10 a game he may have enough trade value (if coupled with Hinrich) that a team may take a chance on him.

I dont "KNOW" either - but why else would he continue to get major minutes - and at crunch time - when he is one of the worse performers on the team & has no offensive skills at all?

I have got to agree totally with this. SOme kind of deal or arranement must have been made. Or is that Big Ben is the "FACE" of the team with his unruly fro? I want Wallace out the game at crunch time and either a short lineup with Nocioni at PF and Smith at center or Aaron Gray in there. Gray defense is not that greate but if Thomas is coupled with him, it does not matter.

I didn't mean it like that. I meant that I could see it going both ways...
But would Wallace really think of that being put into his contract? He was still an All-Star when he left Detroit. I'm pretty sure he assumed he'd be getting minutes. I'm not sure if that would have had to be arranged.
I think the following reasons are more likely:
* A Wallace with greater stats is more tradeable than an unhappy Wallace with really really bad stats.
* An unhappy Wallace could be cancerous to our team.
* Our old school coaching staff hates playing raw big men.
* Our coaching staff is intimidated by the perceived coach-killer...especially a guy looking for a permanent job like Boylan.
* Paxson is too dense to think that Wallace is a problem...very realistic if he actually met with Wallace to see if Skiles should be fired or not.

I hate this team - with every piece of my being I hate them.
I hate Chris Duhon. I hate him like a fat kid hates soup.
I hate Kirk Hinrich. I hate him like Oatmeal hates Cream of Wheat.
I hate Ben Wallace. I hate him like Pepsi hates Coke.
I hate Jim Boylan. I hate him like Staphylococcus aureus hates chemotherapeutic agents
