http://www.670thescore.com/ - and it's up. I only caught a bit of this on my drive in. Sounds like Mike was giving him a grilling, and Pax was getting irritated, but not taking the bait.

I won't be able to listen to the whole thing myself until much later this morning.

I'm not sure on what side of this I really fall. I think the team is screwed either way when Ben Wallace is your leader.

Yeah, it already starts juicy. Good post. Never knew that they had a podcast. Might add it to my podcast list.

I didn't get to hear the whole thing either, but North was drilling Pax on Wallace. Flat out told him that he was a bad signing, which was great. But then the bozo didn't shut up and let Pax respond. Argh!

I do give credit to North for getting Pax to admit that Aaron Gray (or all rookies, Demetrius Nichols) didn't get a vote in the players suspension of Noah.

I also give North credit for asking why the Veterans called a meeting and the Captains didn't. Basically asking, "Who's running this team?"

Lastly, Pax needs to stop using the Chicago Bulls corporate word.......Accountability. It's going to end nipping him in the butt.

Jesus.. It's a BBQ fest.

Mike is being completely ridiculous, and proving his NBA knowledge is around zero. Why John does these shows I don't get. I'm guessing he won't visit the show again.

Pax sounds bad. It seems like he wasnt ready for this interview. Paxson's tone doesnt make me fell very good about this team as a fan.

For the first time, I felt like Paxson wasn't in control and that he doesn't have a plan in place for this team. I think he believes most of the pieces are here, and all the team's problems are just mental. He seems completely out of step with reality. I hope I'm wrong.

I did like that North went off on Wallace. That was pretty good.

I definitely don't see it that way. I see at as Mike being aggresive and personal to a point where John simply didn't expect it. I really don't blame Paxson for hesitating his answers.

I can't imagine listening to that douche on a regular basis.

On Pax's side. That's the end of it.

"I'm not yelling Jon, I'm passionate."

Honestly not a good communication between the two the whole podcast. Personally, his respect isn't cool at all towards his guest. Maybe its for the ratings boost he's seeking but he definitely wasn't professional. Jon Pax was so cool headed. I would have straight hung up. Kind os sickening to my gut a bit.

By the way, Adrian is known as the junkyard dog? LOL!!

I don't know where you get that - nowhere in that interview does he say anything of the sort.

True, I agree, But Mike North (as much of an ass he is) Is really asking and taking it to Paxson like any of us do on any given day on this site. Paxson has not answered Mikes questions stright up. He has played himself in a corner with this interview. At the end of the interview, Paxson gets very defensive at the end of this interview and says things to Mike like "I dont have to answer that question" "How will I know that Noah will be a Bull forever"

I think Pax has lost things alittle, this doesnt give me a good outlook for the near future.

I'm normally with you on this Morten. I can't stand Mike North, but today Mike North did a good job. Probably because he didn't have to talk X's and O's. He doesn't know basketball, but he did drill Pax on the Noah issue and the Wallace issue. We found out more about the Noah issue today because of North.

Don't get me wrong, Mike North is a blowhard, but today was the first day that Mike North was even remotely good to me.

I'm listening now, and my god is he wasting a ton of time on the meaningless issue of the Bulls teammates suspending Noah for another game.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but who cares? I think it's good that the players stepped up and suspended him one more game if he deserved it in their eyes. I think it's good that Bulls management listened to them on the topic.

Even if you disagree, I can't see how this is a big enough issue to spend 75% of the interview on. There are so many better topics.

I agree, but talk radio has spent the last 48 hours turning it into the single worst event in the history of the NBA.

No Magilla, He doesnt say it anywhere

But you can tell by his tone and manner in the interview. I have never seen or heard Pax lose his cool.
I know that Mike North wouldnt let him get a word in. But when Pax did have time to answer, he was but, but but, um um um..

Pax just seemed like he was tring to fight his way out of a corner, instead of being relaxed and having answers that would make fans go "ok, he knows there is a problem, and he is on it"
I dont feel that, with the way Pax responded.

Doug, its national news. As a Bulls fan we know there are other "hot topics" to talk about, but don't discredit the fact that the Noah issue is national news. Of course he spent 75% of his time on that story.

I just wish he would have shut up after he blasted the Wallace signing. I really wanted to hear Pax's response.

I think this Interview was very good. He really was aggressive asking questions. Not kissing ass.
