Sorry if this has been posted already, but on Boers and Bernstein's show yesterday on the Score, Bernstein repeatedly stated that the Bulls have no absolutely no interest whatsoever in TT, and that they'll trade him the first chance they get. Some of that last sentence was paraphrased, but most was not. Do you think this is just radio crap stirred up by the lack of playing time? (even though he's not the only rookie or second year player seeing very little playing time now). Or was there a beat report that I missed which alluded to this?

Of course it's made up. B&B hate both Thomas and Noah(and the Bulls in general). Why would Paxson trade a 21 year old on a rookie contract who isn't playing. I would imagine Pax would try to give him as much minutes as possible to maximize his value before the deadline if he planned on trading him.

I don't care what those fools say, any player 21 years old who can put up stats like Tyrus does from time to time without much experience in the nba like...
21 points, 12 rebound, 3 blocks and 2 steals
19, 14, 2, 2
8 and 12 in 20 minutes
8 and 9 in 20 minutes
7 and 9 in 16 minutes
14 and 9 in 23 minutes
isn't going to be given up for not much. Now... he or others may be packaged in with Wallace to offset that huge contract to bring in other players...
Unless he's just causing problems left and right behind the scenes there is absolutely no reason to give up on a 21 year old who you've only given limited minutes to(and he's had some big games given time).
I just find it hard to believe a player like Tyrus who hustles back to try to stop fast breaks, gets up and high 5s all the players before the game is a big problem behind the scenes.
I think too many people are expecting Tyrus to be an impact player instantly given where he was drafted even though he was a project and are holding that against him greatly... especially with Roy and Aldridge getting development minutes last year and now doing well given 30+ minutes this year.
If this team's main players played well this year, we'd have a lot of excitement going on because Tyrus would have never gotten taken out of the lineup and every few games he'd have a huge game which would make games much easier to win and gives us a brighter future with more consistent play from that player with the more experience they get.

AirP, my thoughts exactly. The only times I see the UC crowd (in person or on TV) get even semi-excited is when he enters the game... and that's BEFORE he actually does something ridiculously amazing (or bad

If Johnny Pax wants to have some really pissed off paying customers, he should listen to Boers and Bernstein.
