so, never did a trade thread and I was looking to explore some options. This one was quite difficult due to restrictions, but here it goes:

Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Chicago and San Antonio being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Chicago and San Antonio had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

why for Chicago?
Gets a decent smart playmaker with Vaughan, an experienced leader and sharp shooter like Finley, a nice rebounder with long range shoot in Bonner and a decent center with great defensive skills with Elson. Plus, some nice cap relief for next year and still leaving room for a star trade.
KH/Vaughan
BG/Finley
Deng/Finley
Smith/Bonner/Noah
Wallace/Noah/Elson
why for Spurs?
Spurs love gritty hustling players like Nocioni and playing with Manu and Oberto they play in automatic mode. Plus the loss of Bonner could be compensated by Tyrus developed under Popovich scheme and Gray already looks as a bigger younger Oberto. Duhon doesn't play a big role here, but still an experienced sub for Parker
Parker/Ginobili/Duhon
Barry/Ginobili
Nocioni/Bowen
Duncan/Thomas/Nocioni
Oberto/Duncan/Gray
As you can see there's still room for something like Gasol/Stoudamire for BG/BW/Khryapa or whatever
