It seems that paying Hinrich 11.25 per for the next 5 is going to hurt Chi Moneywise Seeing how Gordon PG/SG and Deng PF/SF will get big Extensions to you think Chi would like to move Hinrich ???

Nope...because tonight showed AGAIN that he's the best backcourt defender on the team.

More likely to move Gordon, if they trade one of these guys

Yeah, i really saw a big difference between duhon/gordon getting abused by davis and hinrich getting abused by Brandon Roy.

I disagree. Sef can defend without fouling out in 15 minutes like Hinrich.

Cause with his defense, who needs offense right?

What tonight proved is being the best backcourt defender on this team is like being the valedictorian of summer school.

Davis scored 40 points tonight...in his last 4 games against Chicago, when he was guarded primarily by Hinrich, he averaged 15 PPG and shot 30%

Even though Kirk's defense hasn't been great this year, he's still a better defender than either Gordon or Duhon...and he's a better offensive threat than Thabo or Duhon

So Gordon is more likely to go than Duhon? Sweet.

I don't think Kirk goes. I betcha Pax sits tight unless someone offers up to take Ben Wallace off our hands (Pax better be calling Western Conference contenders). Duhon isn't coming back next year, esp. with Skiles not there supporting him. One of Deng or Gordon is gone by this offseason or the following year. Truthfully, Pax should try to see if he can move Deng for Iguodala (a disgruntled SF in Philly with their lack luster play). How about Deng + Duhon for Iggy and a spare part.

I know we all love Deng. But one thing he lacks that we need is a guy taking the ball to the bucket, strong enough to draw the fouls or connect on the shot. Deng just doesn't seem to have it in IMO. I know Philly won't do the deal straight up, but I'm sure if you give them a PG in Duhon, they might bite. We can snag up Andre Barrett if we have to. Give Thabo his minutes now. Let him develop, ditto for Tyrus, Noah, and Gray. The season's a wash.

Hinrich is still capable of being a decent offensive threat. Sooner or later, his shot will come around to a point where he'll be in the low 40's FG%. Then he'll go back to getting 15+ PPG. It might not be this year, but he's a career 14+ PPG scorer, so odds are he will return to at least that level next year, if not by the end of this season

Duhon for Cassell would rock my world.

Girly, I know your a KU fan (grad?), but the Bulls don't need a low 40% shooter, 15 ppg guy. They need a player that can create a shot for themselves and others. Kirk isn't that guy.

Hinrich should not be traded he is good combo guard that have good handles. He's just struggling a bit this year. He's still a decent player to have on the roster.

The team executes alot better with Gordon/Deng IMO. I'd rather sign them to good contracts and trade Hinrich + someone else for a Post Player.
