It's surpassed the Kirk story about him writing what he wanted to be when he was 10, opening it up 12 years later and it said "Starting pg for the Bulls"

It's not that the report is inaccurate, it's just every national telecast includes those statements and how it's effected the team, gets tiring

I don't remember it being mentioned.

I think Deng definitely is playing for a contract though. The guy is just looking to score. He will draw a double, with a guy wid eopen, and he won't pass, and takes up a bad shot.

Gordon on the other hand passes when doubled, and takes good shots.

That can be seen in Gordon's shooting efficiency being rapidly on the rise, and Deng's shooting efficiency dropping faster than a freight train.

Gordon passes when doubled?

:rofl2:

Deng's shot attempts are up, Gordon's are about the same. But I don't see either one really playing for a contract, or even playing with a urgency to turn the season around. I kind of wish they were, instead they are 'just playing'.

07 Deng 37.5mpg, 14.9 FGA
08 Deng 34.9mpg, 15.5 FGA

07 Gordon 33.0mpg, 16.3 FGA
08 Gordon 35.2mpg, 16.5 FGA

i am more annoyed that we are getting embarassed nationally. we are pretty bad and dont have a superstar, theres no reason for us to be on tnt. we're better than seattle, but that's saying very little

I just can't believe how fragile our guy's are. Gordon, Noch, and Noah are the only guys that seems somewhat strong minded. But everyone else just has no edge to them. Wallace, Smith, Hinrich, Deng, Thabo, Thomas, Duhon, etc just have no fire. They always look like they are just running the motions.

I have quit getting annoyed with the team though. I allowed myself to get excited and then the orlando, atlanta games happend. After that i will just watch the team with no high hopes, if they get hot they sweet, if not i will just continue to watch and hope for thomas and noah on the court.

It's obvious the team has given up on this season. People have gone to games and had the same impression just looking at the body language of the guys on the bench and how they interact with each other and the bench.

But you don't even need that, you can tell just by watching their play on the court. They have lost faith in themselves. It's not that they are dogging it necessarily but they just have little life or fire. They kind of just go with the flow of the game, and do nothing to fight against it.

When was the last time the Bulls went on a big run? A run centered around great team defense leading to turnovers and fast breaks and guys hitting open shooters on the run and really clicking well as a team? It happened all the time last year. This year, virtually never. It's like 5 individuals all playing their separate little game. Just like Noah pointed out way back when. And once in a blue moon, if we are lucky, 4 or 5 of those individual efforts are good ones and its enough to win a game here or there or beat a crap team. But as far as having a team goal, (like last year get back to the Playoffs and avenge the loss to Miami), or as far as a feeling of everyone in it together wanting to turn things around, I just see nothing close to that.

And the coaching change was just a feeble blip on the radar as far as affecting the team's performance. If anything, it was just like taking the lid of the demanding pressure cooker of Skiles who wasn't going to tolerate this kind of effort for long. With the signing of Boylan, the losing still hurts, but there is some kind of lame sense now of just accepting that is how the season is going to go.

I enjoy national broadcasts because the color guys are sometimes insightful and I'm interested in the national media's take on our team. I do grow very tired of hearing the same old news (Kobe talks, extensions, the Noah suspension) over and over again. I think the broadcasters generally need to study up on the team more or just learn to be quiet at times instead of running their mouths when they don't have anything timely and interesting to discuss.

I'm tired off the "these guys have less scoring this year" and Ben Wallace and Chris Duhon are on it. I get annoyed when they bring up the Kobe and Luol-BG aspect. But more than that, I get annoyed just watching them play for 48 minutes. If I was a non Bull or Grizzles fan today watching that game, I think I would have thought the Bulls were a bottom 5 team.

People are probably getting tired of the national media, because this year all the things they said about last year's team which were false, are proving true.

most national viewers watch maybe 2 bulls games a month, so its understandable that they talk about it.

the bulls dont put on a good show and the announcers say what they see.

ive also heard announcers say that we'll probably have to start playing our youth soon.. but besides that, all we have is drama

It's annoying they try to make the guy's(Deng, Gordon) look bad by not signing contracts and think it their fault why the team is bad but you can see it's obviously something more wrong with this team then that.

Ben Wallace signed a 60 mil contract and has regressed he once was averaging 15.3 rebs in 02-03 season with Piston now he's averaging 8.6 rpg and an awful 4.6 ppg in 32 mpg. age 33

Kirk Hinrich signed a 48 mil front loaded contract and has regressed 06-07 season he averaged 16.6 ppg and 6.3 apg and made the all defense 2nd team. Now this season he's averaging 11.3 ppg on 38 percent shooting from the field and has been averaging 6 assists for the last 4 years(which show no progress as a point guard) and it's safe to say he will not be making any defense teams this year.

The coaching staff are not developing the young players right. Tyrus was a 1st rd 4th pick and is playing like 2nd rd pick.

This team is annoying and so is Pax.
