I have always been a suporter of Chris Duhon and I really think he is great for this team if used correctly, however he is not which is a reason we all feel he should be dealt or let go this summer. I know Duhon is hurt at the moment but once he gets back what could we get for him and which teams would be interested?

Raptors: Need another pg because you dont want to go into the playoffs with just Calderon and a banged up Ford and a motivational speaker in Martin.

Celtics: Rondo is going to be the real deal but I dont trust him by himself in a 7 game series. House and Pruitt? dont make me laugh

Spurs: letting go of Beno is haunting the aging Spurs, Jaque stinks.

Kings: With Bibby to be dealt soon they would be able to resign Duhon and have him share minutes with Udrih.

Lakers: Not sure if they need another guard but since Crittenton is not ready and Fisher more of a shooter that just leaves Farmar.

Nuggets: They have AI starting at the point, Atkins has spent almost the whole season on the DL and Carter has been playing well however thats not enough.

Anyone else? Now I am looking for two second round picks or a late first rounder from winning teams, Cash and a player who has potential like a Joey Graham or an Ian Mahemmi.

We might be able to get a 2nd rounder or something like that. His value is pretty low.

Off the top of my head Boston and Atlanta might be interested.

Atlanta has been getting solid play from Johnson and are trying to develop Law, not to mention they still have Lue and are paying alot of money to a injury plagued Claxton. JJ can also handle pg duties for them as well.

Cliff Levingston would try to package Duhon and Nocioni together for whatever we can get back that's not long-term contract crap.

But to answer the OP, of course we dangle Duhon; he sucks for us.

I get the feeling mgt loves Noc to deal him Cliff, especially from todays articles. Maybe Duhon and Griff?

Dixon expires this summer but can still get streaky and boost the team a little by hitting some shots. Graham is foul prone but has a wet midrange jumper and is on a cheap contract.

wrong. both spurs fans and team management have been pretty universally happy with what vaughn brings. he hustles, never makes stupid mistakes, and has picked up both the offensive and defensive schemes in a remarkably fast time. we arent moving assets to improve on vaughn.

Yes, please dangle Duhon over a cliff until he submits and promises that he won't be out partying during the season and will focus 100% on his bball game.

Other teams are aware of Duhon. The problem is the Bulls. They dont want to take on future salary if they can avoid it

I think the only teams interested in Duhon are those interested in his expiring to get rid of a longer deal (we're not interested in adding a bunch of salary) or contending teams looking to get some more depth at the expense of some future consideration or uncontributing young player.

Basically, the top 8 teams in the league may be interested. SA may give us Vaughn and a 2nd rounder, which doesn't do a thing for us. Boston might just give us Tony Allen. Allen will be an RFA, and they may not care to resign him for long-term salary when Ray Allen, Posey, Pierce, and House can all play the position. I don't know if Duhon is liked by Ainge, but I do know I'd like to trade him for Tony Allen.

If we haven't been dangling Duhon and Viktor, management has issues

you can dangle him all you want but the reality is that he's a reserve - a "throw in" player in a bigger deal to make slaries match - he's not a major trade.

he should be seen for 10-15min per game MAX while the starters get a rest.

only a sub .500 team that has worse options on the bench would make him a starter.

I would trade Duhon for any guard over 6'5''. Name one and you can have Duhon. That would be my negotiation strategy.
