Actually, they have been doing this for a month or so- I've been getting e-mails for certain games where 1/2 price tickets are available.
Unfortunately, they are all in the upper bowl, toward the baskets and the top of the bowl.
Call me spoiled, but if I'm going to go to a game and pay for gas to get to the UC, parking, beer, food, etc, I'd rather spend the extra money and get good seats.
But that's just me.
