I'm sure many of you just glanced right over this, but I thought about it a little deeper... Why would the Bulls recall him, just to have him undergo surgery and sit on the injured list? They in fact wouldn't. I suspect he is about to be a filler in a trade. Maybe the other team even requested he already be patched up before they received him. Something to think about.

oh beans.....

some people love conspiracy stuff

Bulls can trade Curry while he's in the D-League. They dont have to recall him for that.

The logical fact to me is that Curry needs surgery & now is the time to get it.

LOL

As far as the trade idea, it's good math to me, because we are a likely candidate for a trade right about now. I'm not wishing on anything, but just keeping my eyes open.

considering curry hasn't played i doubt he's getting traded, i think the more likely scenario is that paxson is going to give him somewhat of a shot while he can (with duhon out) and if he performs, it makes it that much easier for us to use Duhon's expiring salary in a trade.

SOmeone else kept suggesting this too, I forget who though.

Missed this when it was originally posted.

But I noticed that JOC didn't play in Iowa's last two games, so that made me go looking.

=================
My guess is that this is fallout from the Boise, Idaho incident.

We have no visibiity from here, but I suspect that Iowa is a pretty conservative place, and many of the fans probably bring their kids to games.

So JOC may not see the place again.

=================
Could he be traded?

I would think that having surgery, coupled with a brush with the law, would in fact lower his value, so what Pax is doing is giving it some time to blow over before he risks finding out what the fans in Chicago think.

Something else to consider is that JOC might have to return to Boise for a court appearance.
