I would say Mark Jackson. The only Asst that have been linked to being ready to take a HC spot is Thibo, Curry and Corbin. Thibo and Curry won't be options based on Thibo being Phx first choice and Dumars not granting permission for Curry.

We're in a position that the new HC won't have a lot of expereince. Corbin only been a Asst for a couple of yrs.

It's going to be a very scary summer, the only hope was Doug Collins saying yes to Phx, which he obviously said no.

Once again I am going to bring up his name because folks here don't seem to take him seriously. If you're willing to try a different approach instead of tired retreads, Michael Cooper is a guy I think should at least be considered. I mean really, other than LB and Curry(no HC experience on any level), no one recently mentioned knows what it's like to win a championship.

Cooper, once again, has won 5 as a player, 2 coaching in the WNBA(plus another finals appearance), and 1 coaching in the NBDL. That's 4 trips to the finals and 3 championships in 9 years as a head coach. I don't care what level you're talking about, that's pretty impressive. And every team he's coach(except for that ridiculous
1 month stint waiting for Karl to sign in Denver) has made the playoffs every year.

Phil Jackson, before he was hired by the Bulls, had only coached in the CBA and in Puerto Rico. The important thing is, he won(just like Cooper). I'm not saying that Cooper will be anything like Jackson, but he's at least earned a look. Of coarse, it is possible that Buss and the Lakers have him pegged as Jackson's replacement(they are getting him alot of HC experience while on the franchise payroll). Even so, I would think Cooper would jump at the chance to coach on the NBA level now as opposed to waiting a few years for Jackson to step down.
The man who smiles when things go wrong has thought of someone to blame it on.

Michael Curry from the Pistons.
Well the Pistons have denied teams permission to talk to him so far, so it's doubtful they'd allow it now.

What I'm more disappointed about is the fact that Dwane Casey is also off the market. God this has been demoralizing as a fan, hate to imagine what the players feel like.

I vote the mods become the coaching staff, seeing as they have different opinions on guys, have a pretty good understanding and would work for literal peanuts to get the job.

They have a really good understanding; that's a neat idea.

Maybe Gaius Baltar is the answer.

Seriously, they should just stick a cardboard cutout of Phil Jackson at the end of the bench.

They already did that with the lifesize Jim Boylan cutout....

In all seriousness, I would love to see a Paul Silas sighting. He has hinted he wants to get back in and hopefully he can take the bigs to the next level, along with a big man coach.

There are some pictures that, while not pornographic, I wouldn't post here. I believe she did a photo gig for Esquire or FHM.

Best thing about hiring Baltar from JR's perspective, no need to hire any assistants since Six can talk to him in his mind. Surely she will suggest some innovative plays!
