But bottom line - I was hanging out in the stands at Center Court today, between the D League ASG and the HORSE competition, when suddenly who appears literally smack dab in front of me (on the opposite end of the rails) but Gar.

Thinking about how we have been getting smacked in the face with rumor after rumor about Joe Johnson, I knew right then that I had to act. It was time for anorexorcism to finally send his statement to management.

"PAY THE DAMN LUXURY TAX" I yelled at him

No, j/k. What I did yell was...

"HEY GAR!"

He looks at me, sees my bulls cap, makes a motion like "What's up."

"GO GET US LEBRON!"

Chuckles, walks away with his family.

Mission accomplished. And now I think the guy is da bomb. I'm a fan.

Tomorrow's mission: meet D-Rose. What do you guys want me to say to him???

PS - I hope I represented us crazy RealGMers well. LOL.

I did the same thing when I met Gar and Pax in Salt Lake City on the Thanksgiving night game. I told Pax to go get us Boozer, he just smiled. After the game I was able to talk to Gar for about 5 minutes, He was very nice and asked me to sit down so we could talk. He even answered my questions about trading for Boozer or signing Lebron.

I would've preferred you tell him your first thought. He would've had to tell JR who would've probably fired him though.........so I guess it wouldn't have mattered.

Of course they do. They're going after Lebron not Wade! :D

At least yell 'Bosh!' I mean it's fairly obvious we want LeBron, who doesn't?

While I was kinda shocked you didn't say anything other than that, I realize that actually informing Gar what you really truly wanted to say in the seconds you had is not realistic.

"I represent the RealGM NATION! We Speak with One Voice (except Duck)!

Please, I beg you, Don't Break our Hearts (freakin' again)!"

Then vomit all over him

THAT would be representing us proudly

Yeah, I really liked Gar after actually getting to interact/meet with him. It wasn't a true meeting per se as I was in the stands he was on the floor, but I liked how he acknowledged me as a Bulls fan right away, and he seems like he has a nice family (his daughter was meeting around with some other officials and his wife loved my comments and I think she may have felt a sense of pride that there was a die-hard Bulls fan at the ASG who recognized her husband - most casual Bulls fan probably think Pax is still the GM).

I wish I would have gotten to sit down with him like you were able to, but the circumstances didn't really permit it, I was in the stands and he was on the sidelines with his family. Didn't want to interrupt him either. But I really gained a newfound respect for him, particularly when I saw how much of a smooth operator he was and how crazily his phone seemed to be blowing up.

Good vibes 8-)

You would think. But it almost makes me wonder if they don't consider it realistic and thus have moved on to targets like Wade and Joe Johnson--we hear literally nothing about the Bulls' interests in LeBron while NJ, NY, and obviously Cleveland get all the ink.

I wanted to do my part.

You should yelled all these names something like this:

"HEY GAR! GET US LEBRON, Bosh, Wade, or Amare or the two of the superstars!"

 :P

I bet it was Derrick ringing to ask why they replaced him with Westbrook in the skills challenge

Seriously though, I wish you'd said something to the effect of don't overpay for Joe Johnson, not that it matters, they don't listen to the fans anyway
