come july, who do you think the 5th starter will be? I'm guessing one of those flamethrowers they sent down to AAA.

I'll say Floyd if Danks craps out in the beginning which he probably will because history shows he struggles at first, then gets used to the league and then he excels. If Ozzie's smart, he sticks with him all year.

Espn does blow.
They always have there **** messed up, like I rember some guy saying that the Cavs are vastly superior then the rest of the east including the bulls + pistons.

Watch out for Haeger. If he doesnt grab a rotation job by the end of the season, it would be nice to see him in long relief coming out of the pen. We could have used him today most def.

I just got a sick feeling, ever since Kenny Williams decided to trade Freddy Garcia and Brandon McCarthy. Hopefully these deals pan out, time will tell. I don't get why we threw mad cash at a pitcher with more L's than W's under his belt.
It's only 1 game, so hopefully our Sox get back on track, if not, let's hope Kenny gets somebody in here to get it down.

Freddy Garcia barely made the Phillies rotation as the #5 starter. His velocity is down to 83mph reportedly. Keep in mind, in his prime he was a 94/95mph power pitcher.
McCarthy will give up too many HR's and more importantly will have a high ERA in that ballpark. I like both deals, but man, whoever is in the White Sox scouting department screwed up big time again. Masset supposedly had stuff just a tidbit step down from Jenks' and his fastball was supposed to be at around 97/98. Yesterday Masset was hitting 91 on his fastball.
I can't wait for the day that we get new scouts because our current ones suck ass.
