Granted I still really like this trade we made, and Aardsma looks pretty good, but have any of you seen the year Cotts has had so far? Hes looking pretty damn good also
Cotts 10.2 IP, 7 BB, 12 K, 0.00 ERA
2007 Salary: $825,000
vs
Aardsma 17.2 IP, 7 BB, 25 K, 2-0, 1.53 ERA
2007 Salary: $387,500
I still like this trade... ALOT. Cotts has done well, but mostly against crap competition. He only has 10.2 IP under his belt, so its unfair to compare ERAs. Its working out well for both teams, Aardsma has stepped up in some big moments... aside from his 1 blown save on Jenks' off day.
