Reds @ Cardinals 4/30

Post#1 » by el loco » Wed Apr 30, 2008 12:59 pm

Cincinnati (12-16) at St. Louis (17-11)

First Pitch: 1:15 pm EDT

Probable Pitchers:
Reds: Aaron Harang (1-3, 2.76 ERA)
Cards: Looper (3-1, 4.05 ERA)

Harang went 2-0 with a 3.48 ERA in three starts versus the Cardinals last season, and is 5-6 with a 4.46 ERA in 14 career starts. I hope we get him some runs today.

Ken Griffey Jr., who needs three homers to become the sixth player to reach 600, has gone 1-for-9 in Harang

If we can pull out a win today, it would make two series in a row that we took 2-1. It is very possible with Harang taking the mound, but we haven't exactly given him any kind of run support so far this season.

Reds lost 5-2 Edwin went deep again. He is putting together a pretty nice season, it is to bad he always starts out so slow or he would be among the league leaders in most offensive categories IMO.

Harang gave up 3 runs in 6 innings but left the game trailing 2-3, poor guy can't get a win even though he has some amazing stuff. :banghead:
