Pirates @ Reds Games 13-16

These teams split the first two games of the series. Yesterday the Reds won, Hernandez hit a grand slam, Votto continues to get on base, and Gomes knocked two over the wall he has 5 home runs on the year now.

Game 3: Volquez is supposedly going to take the mound. If he does, the guy has been struggling in the 1st inning in all of his starts this year.

He gave up 4 runs in the 1st inning again. They need to send him down for a rehab assignment or something. The big leads he gives up in the first innings of his starts makes it tough on this team. If you take away the first inning, the Reds win, but you can't take it away. Pirates 7 Reds 6.
