2:10 Pacific Time. I won't be able to watch the game live but I'll record it since I believe it will be on ESPN 2. :)

It'll be Harang vs Zambrano.

Good Luck guys.
I expect a lot of power in this series with two power ballclubs in a hitters park.

lol someone posted! lol I haven't seen 1 red fan yet besides myself. C'mon guys show yourselves, we're not THAT bad.

No you guys aren't that bad.
I have you behind St. Louis, Chicago, and Milwaukee in a weak division.
You guys always seem to get off to a hot start and fizzle after that. If you just stay hot for a longer time you could win the division.
Maybe try going to the Bengals board and get some members in here or try the Cavs board.

Yeah, the thing is our bullpen will be mediocre but when our hitting started to fail us last year we sunk. We need guys who can drive in runs. We left too many people on base.

BTW, I was thinking of that but I'll give it a day since these boards just opened today.

Tribe fan here, but I'm watching the Reds too during the commercial break. I tend to pull for you guys when you aren't playing the Indians. Dunn is ripping the ball today, just spanked his second one off Zambrano.

Great to see this forum up and even better to see the Reds look so good Opening Day. Good pitiching, good hittings, and good fielding. Seems a good formula for success.

And it is nice not to hold one's breathe on each grounder to short. AG's presence also seems to have relaxed EE. I think with decent health this season, the Reds will be a major force. Depth has me concerned, as we know one or two of the starting outfielders are sure bets to get injured for extended time.

We lost but I have Dunn and Harang on my fantasy team.
Not all was bad :)

Good win guys. Unfortunately I couldn't catch the game but I'll see some highlights on Baseball Tonight. Ahh, its good to have baseball back. This is the way I'd like to start a season :).

that would be Hamilton's break to see what he's got on something other than one of the 3's off days.

Anybody else try to record the game on ESPN2 only to realize that they didn't air it locally because we have WGN? And, being 2 hours from Cincy, why DO we get WGN and not FSN Ohio?

Ron, are you in bloomington, Indiana? If so, the game was available on FSN Indiana (61 on Insight).

I am, but I'm on campus so we don't get FSN Indiana. We petitioned to the University to get it, but they don't listen to the students. Sadly, I won't be getting it next year either as I'll be on campus for the 4th consecutive year, so I won't be able to watch Pacer games or some Reds games if they're going to carry them, too.

I think they will be carrying about 90 or so reds' games this season on FSN Indiana and Insight has it (or at least, I hope becasue they often have FSN Midwest on the same channel--very confusing). I think Opies' gets it also.

That's good news I guess. I have a friend off campus with TiVo so I can watch games there. When summer comes I can watch the games on FSN at home or drive 10 minutes to Ohio and find a sports bar that has FSN Ohio.
