Chicago (18-14) at Cincinnati (13-20)

First Pitch: 7:10 pm EDT

Probable Pitchers:
Reds: Harang 1-4, 2.98
Cubs: 4-1, 2.11 ERA

Will we give Harang some run support tonight?

Notes:

Harang 1-4, 2.98 is all too aware of that fact. The right-hander has been nearly as effective as Zambrano, but he

Dunn looks to build off homer vs. Cubs

CINCINNATI -- In the third inning of the Reds' 5-3 win over the Cubs, Adam Dunn lifted a 2-1 Ryan Dempster pitch and tattooed it 463 feet to right field.
The two-run home run landed in the upper rows of the moon-deck seats.

Dunn is hitting horribly, he's too much of a defensive liability to hit like this.

Wow. Harang gets no run support again and we lose 3-0 on 4 hits, did I call it or what? :banghead: Yeah, Dunn is holding Bruce back from some playing time, no question about it.

Yeah, again, I feel really bad for the starters, it gets to a point where it doesn't even matter how well they pitch because we can't get any run support. Our offense is flawed, and we won't start scoring runs until we make a move. We need to shake things up...and that does not include trading away the farm.
