The Reds got the win. Votto was the guy with the bat tonight. He singled in a run in the 7th to break a 0-0 tie, and doubled in another run in the 9th. Phillips had the other hit and scored both runs. Those were the only 3 hits we had as a team, but it was enough to get Volquez another win. Volquez is now 8-2 on the year, leads the majors in strike outs (8 in tonights game), and has a very impressive era of 1.32. He will be our lone all-star this year IMO.
