San Diego (38-62) at Cincinnati (48-53)
Posted: Tue Jul 22, 2008 10:42 am
Game Time: 7:10 pm EDT
Pitching Matchup:
Padres: Peavy 7-6, 2.66 ERA
Reds: Johnny Cueto 7-9, 4.92
After going 2-2 against the Mets, the Reds lost the opener agains the Padres when closer Cordero blew yet another save. Since the all-star break Cordero has blow a few saves. Homer Bailey had a decent start for us, it was his second good start in a row. These are the type of teams we have to beat, but it won't be an easy accomplishment in this game because Peavy has owned us in the past.
