That was a bullet that Shoppach threw to second. Damn.

LOL Anyone else read Shoppach's mouth after he threw him out?
Lets just say it was a little innapropriate for tv.

I bet we gain quite a few fans in Milwaukee after this series. I hope the Indians capitalize on this marketing opportunity.

Was sitting in the right field bleachers tonight right over your drummer guy. My buddy and I wanna keep him for Brewer games, the drum was great even though no one else really participated in clapping along with him. The wave usually happens, but this is the first time the slow-mo and the fast wave have made an appearance. I've said a bunch of times in various spots on the internet, the Indians made a ton of fans tonight in Milwaukee, the Angels made a few themselves.

And to answer someone's question from earlier, there were quite a few Ohioans who I talked to at the game. There was a contest with three Ohioans on the LED Ribbonboard, looked like a Cleveland thing since I've never seen it before. There were a few actual Angels fans running around as well, that I was surprised to see.

This was a fun night of baseball for me. An odd one, but still a lot of fun. Glad we can be of service to the Tribe.

Hey, the drummer guy travels? Way to go. I remember that guy out in the bleachers from when I was little and there were only 1000 people in the stadium.

Milwaukee Indians are 1-0

They probably wouldn't have had many more than that had they played in Cleveland considering the weather.

"That drummer guy" (John Adams) even has his own bobblehead/arm coming out this year. Im not positive, but pretty sure this is his first game he's traveled for, so it was great to hear him pounding away last night.

I was thinking the same thing about attendance, although to be fair I doubt the Brewers would have had that many fans attend for their game either. The cheap tickets and novelty of it really drew in quite a crowd. Glad to hear that Brewer fans were so receptive. Hopefully the rest of the series is as fun as last night.

The Brewers would have drawn a little more, around the 22,000-23,000 range for a weeknight game.

It's snowing like mad here in Milwaukee, the Indians should feel right at home now

This should be a 0-0 game. Westbrook is getting some horrible breaks and some horrible defense.

Errors will kill this team.

Westbrook is looking good tonight he is getting himself into some 2 out jams the past two innnings but he has been able to stike out the batter the last two innings.

5 years of Wedge, and I'm still looking for a little small ball, and a way to manufacture some runs that don't come from hitting it over the wall...

A little speed on the bases, a little hit&run, a little bunting... I'm still shocked that we have not one major leaguer that is remotely capable of laying one down...

Timely hitting is not smacking into a rally killin'/inning ending DP...

^ Agreed. I was a little encouraged when in the first game we hit and ran a number of times, then it seemed like since we were just pounding the ball like crazy we got far away from that. Our reliance on the huge hits really hurts us when any of Sizemore, Hafner, or Martinez goes down for any stretch. Hopefully they get back to more of what they were doing in that first game and arent afraid to hit and run, and maybe someone can learn to put down a bunt.

For what it's worth, the drummer guy was brought along by the Indians organization. They brought him and his wife all expenses paid. I read it this morning in local paper. He said it was an opportunity he couldn't turn down. Anyways, I think Milwaukee deserves alot of thanks for this. Like I said a few pages back, I didn't like this being moved there. But they've won me over and been great hosts while their Brewers are out of town. Sucks that we lost tonight, but I had a feeling that Saunders to slow our bats down. His style is just like Hamilton said on STO. Those lefties without much pop on their fastball just seem to get our guys out. Lets get them tommorow and take this series.
